pirlo played well today guys and when sheva came on, we started playing very well..good game to get prepared for against bayern.. and did every1 know that the game after bayern is JUVE?????? if they lose today against samp, and then we will have a chance to cut the lead to 4 points!!!!!! COMON SAMP!

Pretty nice game, we controlled most of the proceedings and missed some chances but we really started to "flow" after Pirlo, Sheva, and Kaka came in. Very pleased with Pippo's and especially Vogel's performances. The Swiss is really coming strong after some shaky outings in the earlier parts of the season but that should have been expected given that everything was completely new to him.
Janku needs to start more often and get 3-4 full games to get some of his confidence back. he was OK today although nothing incredible - a big mistake at the back in 1st half when he failed to cover his man at LB almost lead to Empoli opening the score, plus a number of "chaotic" crosses from relatively good positions.
happy with today's performance, especially given that we played with a number of less utilized players and probably most of them had the Bayern game in their heads. It's a good thing that we played today as we would have one extra day to prep the Bayern trap.

Yeah, it did snow and the terrain was rather bad but that was for both teams. It would be a big mistake to think, however, that bayern gave their best vs Hamburg as I am sure they will vs Milan. Today, bayern used most of their 1st team players but the team tried to do just enough to get a draw and didn't really push for the win as hamburg were easily the better team, especially in the 1st half. And Bayern almost did get a draw but allowed De Jong to score the winner with a header after a free-kick cross in the 89th or 90th minute.
In the end of the day, I think bayern used this game more like a training excercise for Wedsday rather anything else as they feel pretty comfortable in the Bundesliga and only a miracle will prevent them from winning it. So, they can afford the luxury of losing points before an important CL game.
Anyway, Forza Milaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan !!!!!!!!!

I was really a pitty, I'm still used with the traditional sunday giornatas.

Juve just beat Sampdoria 1-0, so we'll have to wait till next week to take points from them
