Wait a sec, I'm not a fanatic of Inzaghi but I think to sell someone who is on his Form is the last thing a club would do ( we don't have financial problem, do we?)
amoroso once is a talented person but he won't be a first team choice here at Milan. To sign Crespo means another rotation problem for us. He doesn't like to sit on the bench, he wants to play and get the regular first team.
But the fact Ancelotti admire Crespo too much may bring the player to San Siro.
Still, I don't see the urgent to sign another striker.
It is more wisely to spend our budget for the defender, well as others had mentioned before, Chivu and Gallas are good signing.

This is crazy. Sell an in-form striker? Why? We DON'T need Crespo. He did great here last year and we are greatfull for that. Now though...we have the best attack in the league and we don't need him. I said it earlier....this is not Championship Manager to jump on every available big name out there. We should only buy what we really need and Crespo is not that right now.

I certainly agree. There is much more young and talent stricker out there. the pass will remain the pass and it such a nice memory that Hernan Crespo played so well with Ac Milan last year.

Crespo will also be much older and why dont we get much younger alternative? I sure the brand of Ac Milan can lure any youngter to Milan

Crespo is hardly the player we need, if we for some reason should buy a striker (which hardly is the kind of player we need) then we should obviously go for Henry instead. Especially since we can buy him for the same price...

Don't know if this was a question, but the answer is that he did that only once in his career. That was about 10 years ago with Piacenza where he scored a incredible 35 goals. A feat he never came close to again.

my point is IF milan is gonna bring crespo, inzaghi has to go. i know inzaghi is on form right now, but crespo is the best finisher and younger than pippo.
milan has been linked with strikers like henry and nistelrooy, do u think inzaghi will stay if one of them comes to milan?
anyway i agree that we dont really need to fix our strikers.

kris, the reason were being linked with crespo again is bedcause it says in the article that he would cost 5 million.

Which is the price we can get Henry for if he doesn't sign a new contract. Neither needed though, last time I checked we where the top scorers in the league.

Just goes to show how good Gilardino is.

Point noted!

Ofcourse Gila's record speaks for him, but when it comes to high tensed matches he does not show up. I am not trying to create a rift but the if you look at his performance in UCL matches (which are pretty taxing mentally and physically) , he has not scored goals and more than that he hasn't even had any starts!

so i beleive, hopefully as time passes and as the club progresses toward glory he should get better.

go gila!

And if we had Henry we'd still be top scorers in the league with Gilardino, Shevchenko and Henry each getting 20 league goals

Of course there is also a very real possibility that if we get Henry then he will be marked tightly and be suffocated of space, therefore crippling his biggest asset- his pace.

Also, with Kaka relishing pace through the middle I feel we are covered.

This is all conjecture, mind you, but I base my opinion on the tight marking in Serie A compared to the space afforded in the Prem.

Of course, I could be wrong

actually come to think of it, from the first 2 paragraphs i concluded that if henry joins and pairs up with sheva i doubt hed fail simply because with defenders already having trouble controlling kakas pace, imagine how hard it can be to control kakas along with henry?? and with sheva waiting alone to pounce on whatver they can create that would be really great, to be honest id love to have henry here, hopefully inzaghi leaves and we can rotate with sheva, henry and gila alot ... the 3 alone can give us so many great options upfront, probably the most complex attack in history!

Its not like Henry had problems with the teams that defend in premier league. But we have Gila to cover the role of beating these stubborn serie A team and having henry would would have someone to beat the Inters, Juves and Bayerns of the world. It is clear that some players playing style fit a little better against some teams. Sheva positively ranks among those who seems to be able to score against anyone, that versatility is what puts him above many other strikers.

i agree... but i think with time gila will become very critical in big matches, his still young and hes new here.
