ACHTUNG! BARCA vs. MILAN

Someone said it before. This lost is the best lost that could have happened. Any other loss would have been complicated and hard to deal with. This one is simple. It does not any simpler then this. We just have to win. It is going to be hard, but certainly not impossible because we proved yesterday that we are better then them.
I said this before and I'll say it again. Everyone here always is optimistic and believes that we can go to Torino, Rome, Firence and beat the teams over there. What is so different about going to Barcelona and winning there??? I am really optimistic and expecially after the match yesterday. No we didn't score and yes we lost, but we were the more balanced and better team. If we play the way we did yesterday one ball will go behind Valdez and we will win.
We should take the same approach that we did in Milano. We will have a whoooole 90 minutes to make one count, but we should not forget on their attack as well so that's why we should be a little cautious at the back as well. Gattuso should not push forward as much. I would expect that the attacks should be made by Seedorf and Kaka. 90 minutes is a long time and for some reason I believe we will shock the Spanish early on. From then on.....it'll be GAME ON!!!

Juve dont make many mistakes, but letting him go was one and letting him come to us was another. Hes become our equaliser, ironically enough, thats what we need.

Milan is just 90 minutes away from Paris, the players know that so they will give a fight. And here is what we should do

Messina game:

Kalac
Simic-Costacurta-Stamp-Maldini
Rui-Ambrosini-Voggel-Jan
Gila+Inzaghi/Amoruso

Objective: 1 goal more than Messina and maximum rest.

The good thing is Pirlo is banned out of this game so he can rest for the next 8 days, I would suggest him to go for 4 days on the beach and 4 days training. You sill see a different Pirlo in Nou Camp. Rest is all he needs.

The Barca game:

Cafu-Nesta-Kala-Serginho
Kaka-Pirlo-Gastuso-Seedorf
Sheva-Inzaghi

If luck strikes on us leading 1 goal in the first half to bring the game to square Barca will nervously be 1 conceded goal away from being eliminated.

This scenario is quite possible, all we need is a run by Kaka, a cross by Serginho, a long pass of free kick from Pirlo, a loose ball to Inzaghi, a long short by Seedorf, a powerfull strike by Sheva or a lucky strike by Kala, Nesta or even Rino... you see that we have so many quality, so many solution and ... so much faith in Milan. Let's do it and go to Paris.

It doesn't get any simpler than what minhduc has said! there is no reason why in the world we can't visit eiffel tower! barca shud be on a roll now and we shud punish those young, jumping, hopping tits for their complacency! we've gotta be ruthless

Theoraticly we can win, but just like I said it's hard to me to imagine that it will happen. Our players seem as already accepted the defeat, and just throwing empty talkings to the media... U could see it on the pitch, it's doesn't matter what they say to the reporters.

yes I agree that we will take the next game only if super pippo plays though.

i hope luck will be on our side.. i also think it might be useful for us to play a flat 4-4-2 with kaka on the right.. he'll find more space, and by cutting in to the middle, will make room for Cafu to run down the right flank.. the tactical set up next game will be extremely important..

This is what will make the difference for us...eg the first match in the San Siro saw Guily running back to tackle Serginho, foiling several of his attempts to cross....obviously a tactical decision from their Dutch coach.

Carlo now has to "out-coach" Rijkaard in the second leg, and hope and pray that our players are clinical in the finishing department.

I however, am not overly worried, as my other posts re this match will attest.

We will win this match, and the final in Paris.

the game in Milan wasn't the best we can play but it was equal to Barcelona's skill...
