Superb goal by Kaka, I think its time for the boy to become the man. After enjoying Pirlo's rise its time for Kaka to beome our new ballon dor player!

Brasileiro, i noticed today that on the subs bench for yesterday's match was a Junior Marcelo. Is this the same Marcelo who's the really good young left-back/left-wing ?

If it was, maybe he'll play on Wednesday against Wales, hope so.

what period of time do they judge this on? Is it January of one year to January of the next year? Or is it over a season?

Do you guys know how imprtant can this goal be for Kaka, maybe not so important couse it was a friendly, but I saw that the media are comparing this goal with the one that maradona scored in the semis of 1986 world cup in Mexico against England, that means that this goal is considered as one of the most beautiful goals in the history.I think for every player that means smth, you`re goal to be compared with what is said to be the most beautiful goal ever.

Good luck Kaka, now show some of that class with Milan, we need it now.

You´re right, Jim. Is the same Marcelo...
BTW, Dunga said that will promove changes on the team for the game against Wales, to rest some players. So, I expect Marcelo to start...
I´m curious to see how the kid will handle the pressure of his firt game in Brazil senior NT. Some great barzilians players looked bad at first start...
F***, Ronaldinho gaucho still looks bad at Brazil NT!!!

it's a fine goal Kastriot no doubt about that, but i think any media who are comparing it to Maradonna's goal are going way overboard.

If no one is going to tackle you, i could run for 70 yards with the ball !

Anyway ... onto Marcelo. I won't be able to see this match, but i hope he'll play some part in it. All i know is that Kaka, Robinho & Ronaldinho will all start.

Apparently Marcello scored with Kaka setting him up. Good debut

yeah it was a great goal with Marcelo scoring, but I don't think Kaka set it up, though played a part in the move.

Fact is, looking at Brazil, everyone talks about Ronaldinho, but Kaka is not only playing better, he looks to be a focal point in the side, with pretty much every attack building through him.

Agreed, but it seems that as soon as Ronaldinho does one if his pretty moves, all of the judges are DUMBFOUNDED. That's why Ronaldinho's gotten so many awards. Not that he didn't DESERVE them, but look at what he did in the World Cup.... not much.

But Ronaldinho has an unparalelled individual talent, which makes him what he is. I guess that's what differentiates him and Kaka, Individuality and Teamwork

BTW, if I remember correctly, Kaka dribbled the ball from somewhere around midfield, dribbled to the top of the box, one-twoed with Robinho, pulled 3 defenders toward him, then gave the pass for Elano to slot it in (Univision replayed the goal like 10 times), so I'm pretty sure Kaka set up the second goal

Nice to hear that marcelo scored,Milan should keep an eye on him,
But I`m so glad that Kaka is learning to be a leader , thats what we need from him, I can say the same for seedorf and Pirlo, they`ve matured over the summer, Thats good.

I agree that Ronaldinho has unparalelled talent and like you said, Kaka is more of a team player now than R10. Fact is, looking at the Brazilian side last night compared to last Sunday, if I was Dunga I'd probably even consider dropping Ronaldinho at this point, as he was more of an issue than advantageous. If Milan were to ever get him, first and foremost I'd expect him to re-develop his team ethic, as right now wherever he plays, its like he's got to be the center of attention and everything has to be around him, rather than him playing for others.

ACMILAN1983, in Brazil now, the majority of supporters wants Robinho in and Ronaldinho out. The fact is, Robinho since started in Brazil senior NT comes being AWAY better than Ronaldinho. Man, to be sincere, most of brazilians are tired of Ronaldinho excuses. The guy said that do not perfom in Brazil NT because play in a diferent role of the Barcelona bla, bla, bla...This is B.S!! Parreira used Ronaldinho as it plays in Barça for 3 years in a formation like:
------------------Emerson-----------------
---J. Pernabucano------------Zé Roberto-----------
--------------------Kaka--------------------
-----------------------------Ronaldinho-------
-------------------Ronaldo----------------------
...and the guy was there, at the left, without defender reponsibilities, and didn´t made nothing!!
BTW, Brazil NT isn´t team for to be constructed around one player, and our NT play much better w/ Robinho. In Dunga mind, Kaka is a starter and isn´t a strech to say that Robinho benched Ronaldinho...

I agree, Robinho has been performing great for Brazil lately. I was crying out for him to play during the WC, but they persist with Ronaldo (who shouldn't really have played despite breaking records).

Brazil aren't a team that revolve around a single player and never should be. However, what I meant was Ronaldinho clearly wants the team to play around him, which is why he should be dropped right now.
