If we are replacing Inzaghi or Amoroso or Boriello, then yes Iaquinta would be a good addition. But to replace Shevchenko? Have we gone nuts? And I'm really fed up with the "we dont want to spend big" crap. We just got 30M in cash for Sheva. I'm sure that amount is more than enough to get a top class striker. This is really getting ridiculous.

Well, I would agree but - who's going to be available during the January window? Why can't we get them now? Are they going to be available for the CL?

Honestly, seeing Iaquinta JUST being linked with Milan made me feel sick. I hope this is a rumour. Afterall, he looks like a shemale, did anyone notice?

I hear you my friend. I think you and I are both quite nostalgic people---nostalgic for the great, all conquering MIlan sides of the late 80s and early 90s. I have not felt too much excitement and enthusiasm about the current side since the 2002-03 and 03-04 seasons. After the purchase of Kaka, I dont feel that we have reinforced the side with enough quality or with players that can provide some "magic" on the field. Gila was a great buy, but for me, we needed more....Oh well, we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope Berlusconi comes to his senses. If he is not willing to spend money, we may still be able to win, but maybe not as stylishly as most of us would like

On the bulls eye, Rt9: we're badly lacking in MAGIC... it's hard to say, but the side cannot get me spellbound anymore since a very long time ago... I'll never quit Milan, that's for sure, and as I've talked here before, I'm with Milan since the mid 80's, so I know how hard is to support players like Battistini, Maldera, Romano, Novellino, Icardi, Bortolazzi, Wilkins, etc. hehehehe.... but hell, I wanna see a stronger side, and things are not goin' to well...

On offense, I think we definitely need more depth. Iaquinta could be a good option as a striker, but he isn't starting material. Not only do we need a striker, but we need a strong group of players in that position. Amoroso and Inzaghi have passed their prime, and Borriello is very inexperienced, so a set of good strikers is needed.

I also fail to see how we can go on without at least a top class replacement for Shevchenko and an alternative for Amoroso.

You know what; I still fail to see how we can manage to win the Champion League with Kaka` (with Rui Inzaghi and Shevchenko, the latter 2 got injured alternatively), and with defense like "Simic" who was described as 'useless' by some.

I guess it's just the other teams are weaker, then, or of course Milan got lucky.

Ok, Jeff, so let's get any reinforcements. Happy now?
