-----------Dida--------------
Bonera-Nesta-Maldini-Serginho ----------Pirlo--------------- Gattuso-------Seedorf------ --------Kaka----------- Inzaghi-------Oliveira------ I think Gila is going to play the CL match a couple days later. As for the match...what more to say then a great performance. The team needs to not only beat Lazio but beat them good(although it is going to be really hard) with a 2/3-0! We have to silence everyone and show them that even though didn't spend a fortune during the summer, we still are the team to beat. As for us being motivated to start off great and reduce the deficit......I think Lazio is going to do the same as they are -11 from the start. It is a good thing that Inter is playing Fiorentina who will be going all out as well to reduce their -19 points. It is going to be an exciting start. Cant wait!!

a little bit off topic, but I'll write it in here : Gourcuff scored again for France U-21, it was as easy tap in, but a good run for a midfielder. He also assisted on second goal fron the right wing putting a sharp cross from first touch. Good and sharp passing and movement by him last night. Man has some class really.
Second thing, I've seen 45 minutes of Wales-Brazil, and this guy Marcelo - great player. He has a lot to do still, in defence mostly, but he is 18! his attacking skills are sublime, his shoot also. It wouldnt be a risk to sign him if we want new LB, I wouldnt hasitate for a second. from what I've seen, in 2,3 years he will be a superplayer like Carlos used to be. But he is phisically stronger than Carlos and could defend better. Now, about the game. Looks like Gila will start today for Italy, along with Pirlo and Gattuso, so that means Pippo could start against Lazio. Along with Borielo maybe who is 100% ready. Oliveira is not in top condition right now.

I rather have Pippo's playing this game instead of Gila, that is, if Lotti decided to field only one of them. Who's our CL opponent three days later? AEK Athens, which according to general public, is an easy opponent for Milan. Supposedly scoring against Athens is easier than scoring against Lazio. Gila sooner or later, has to score, and it'll be better for him to start against Athens. But that's just me.
A bit worry about our Italians in the midfield though. 'fraid they might get too tired for the game. But Seedorf proved himself in the last few games, and I hope he will manage to perform. Defence had been discuss to death. Maldini is back. Expect some magical movements from the maestro. |

Second, your just added another definition of the term: "Phan" i.e. Those who change allegiance because of a transfer season they dont agree with. Thanks for your posts, short though they usually are...and peace unto you. ![]()

Even so, I still think Milan has a good chance of winning the scudetto as long as injuries don't cost us. |

Even without "class players signing" like you mentioned...didn't you recall who is the champions of the TIM CUP recently ?? You'd better think twice before posting a message in this forum... Ciao......

You thought you saw the last of Seedorf??? HAHA You are a funny one!!!! You obviously know nothing about the game so yes.....you are right, go and watch your Premiership where the ball is in the air 89 minutes out of 90! Then again, some people call that exciting!

So in the end, those who are willing to stick with Milan through thick and thin will always get angry at those who only want to support Milan in the wonder years (and in your case, you haven't actually bothered to wait and see if Milan will fail this year, making it all the more worse). Its comparable with something like a man who cheats on his wife after an argument without even trying to sort it out. Anyway, personally I don't really care what kind of fan you are and if you decide to stop following Milan, I don't really care about that either, its your choice. Also, to everyone here, please keep things in check, just don't let things get out of hand. edit - I just noticed most replies regarding your post are from fans from at least 2001 (Warro dates back to 1999). These posters are therefore obviously ones who definately supported Milan even during our hard times, where big signings weren't a factor and even getting into CL was unlikely. Its unsurprising that those who followed Milan in its hardest years for over 20years would get annoyed at people who can't even accept a quiet transfer season, despite having one of the best squads in Europe. Thanks Dev, you said it all for me...do u need part-time work as my assistant? Having you state my thoughts before I actually type them would cut down so much of my workload...dont worry, I will make an attractive salary package!
