Pato is a completely different case. He was signed for a ridiculous sum of money and came from the first team in a Brazilian team. If he were European then you could compare because European players rarely ever break through so early. No idea why though, but a 18 YO South American player who has been signed from X club will always get a chance before a 18 YO player coming from the youth setup.

tight schedule here.so we must choose which players to plays in every matches.the called up players is very unusual but i hope we still can optimize the players.my formation will be:

----------------Kalac------------------
--Oddo--Darmian--Maldini--Jankulovski--
-------Gattuso--Emerson--Max---------
---------------Gourcuff----------------
----------Paloschi----Pato-------------

it would be nice to see young guns there.so my dream for Gourcuff-Paloschi-Pato in forward become reality.3 points is important as hell since we have to take the 4th place again from Viola.this game shouldn't be sacrifice for any reason

The race for 4th is an undignified race for a club such as Milan, but we are paying for the lack of reinforcements over the last two transfer windows, in addition to our exertions for the World Club Cup.

That being said, we should, for a club of our stature, have enough depth, even with youth players, or those on the periphery of the starting 11, to get to 4th spot without too much strain...

However, no use crying over spilt milk.....let just see if the players can deliver, and Carlo can find a tactical soloution to our current predicament....

With the difficult run in we face, I indeed wouldnt be surprised if we are playing UEFA cup next year...and since we havent won it yet, why not next year?

I agree with you Warro 100% . Our bench if played all regular season games should be good enough to get top 4 spots. If my prayers are answered and more of the young players are involved today i really am 99.9% positive your going to see a great game with energy and scoring chances..

I think todays game is going to be just like any other. Milan will play somehow and with no creativity in the attack. We may score a goal, we may not. I doubt we will win today against a very good Lazio side. Hope for the best and I'm ready for the game.

Very good Lazio ???????
They have all the worst difficulties to play well (a bit like us), they have difficulties to come back in top 10 (5 points left to Palermo, 10th), and they have too a lot of difficulties to win when they're not at home !!

So if we're not able to beat them at home tonight (and if Fiorentina wins tomorrow), we will be in trouble for the rest of the domestic season ...

I put my trust in Ancelotti to put the best formation out there...

After all, he knows the conditions of the players more than we do...

Thank you Sant.

Maybe he'll have his chance to play with senior team today.

You will se tonight. Lazio has quality players just they are not doing good at the moment, and everyone knows that teams that are not doing good put up a good preformance against us and take a draw away from San Siro or 3 points. Now, having said this I hope I'm worng. I hope we beat them 5:0.

predicted lineup is: kakac-oddo-bonera-kaladze-jankulovski-emerson-gattuso-gourcuff-seedorf-pato-gila

This is not weak team at all and we need to win this game, no excuses. Nesta and Kaka' are healing injuries so they can play on tuseday, while Pirlo deserved the rest he got. Maldini not in the first 11 means he will play LB against Arsenal agaion and Im not so happy about it. Pippo on the bench mean he will start on tuseday

We will see how Seedorf is doing, maybe his phisical condiotion got better.
