![]() ![]() ![]() There is no room for blind sentiment in football. If your main man $heva cant compete with the Anelka, and Drogba not to mention the earth shattering talent of salomon kalou then how is he going to compete with Inzaghi, Pato, Kaka and Ronnie (The two front positions will be taken by these players). Its not totally unlikely for Borriello and even Paloschi to EVENTUALLY become preferred over him. After all you are only as good as your last game. Its no secret that Carlo doesnt want him back and isnt exactly going to keep the faith if he has other choices. Lets not forget if he does join, it will deep into pre-season so even that isnt working in his favour. Oh yeah, hes OLD, lost his pace and confidence. Two of his major attributes in the past. Even if he does come back to soemwhere near his best, how long can it possibly last? Let chelsea pay him his ol timers pension and for God sake let milan move into a new era.

You are kidding yourself, Sheva goals / game ratio was the highest in Chelsea last year..
And of course, we all know how much Ancelotti prefers experience over youth in his squad lists.. Also, keep in mind that at least 1 striker will be injured in any point of time - of that I am certain - and there you go.. Pato/Boriello - Sheva/Inzaghi all fit in perfectly.. Kaka, Ronaldinho, Seedorf weren't made into strikers because they are so much better as offensive players, but because we had NO STRIKERS... anyway, opinions are like assh*les - everyone has one

-------------------------------- He's not coming... Chelsea decided that they wouldn't loan him out... only way they would let him come to Milan is on a permanent basis, for 20 million Euro... hahahahaha

^^^ Great news...I don't see why people just expect $have to come back and miraculously find his form when he was in his mid twenties. If we wanted a reliable striker...there was Huntelaar but then again we're not sure if he's better than Borriello........

We really are becoming somewhat comical, aren't we? I hope our play on the pitch alleviates some of the bull**** that has gone on this mercato...

Fine, so be it. So my question to managment is this: Do we need a striker or no? If we do, let's got an get the best one we can for our money. If not, we shouldnt have been after Sheva in the first place.
I think Sacchi is spot on, our managment are not buying players based on team NEED, they are getting them based on availability at cheap price and Berlusconi's wishes. How else do you explain Ronaldinho's signing, Sheva's pursuit, when we probably would have needed Drogba and Ivanovic/Kompany, or a top young CB more? |

Sheva is a no go so the petition was pre-mature ... though I'm not 100% for his return if he was a free loan it makes things easier to 'digest' especially considering Roman shelled out the bank for him

Come on people, relax. I wasn't too happy about his departure either but he had his family in mind. You can't blame him for that.
What knows what will happen, there's still a little time left, but I would welcome him back. He simply couldn't adjust to the English game nor did he have the support of his teammates and staff. His skills are still there, albeit rusty from riding the pine, but put him in an environment that he knows well and it will all come back to him sooner than you think. And don't you think he'd be just a tad bit more motivated considering the professional nightmare he's seen the last two seasons?

I'm so happy that we finaly didn't sign a 32years old crap finished player who leaved our club were he was a king and a world class player only for more pounds.
And i feel so awfull that our managment is not trying for a young and promised striker instead of a finished player. |
