The last time I checked, it should be Ronaldinho behind Kaka and Pippo. And of course stupid Carlo won't play Flamini, our best player in recent games. I really don't get that...

well, lets see, considering all of Becks, Flamini, Ambro and Pirlo have been great in midfield, and Pippo, Kaka and Ronnie also been somewhat good in attack, where would the 4 midfielders and the 3 attackers fit? unless we play with 3 defenders and lose 10-0 i dont see what carlo is doing wrong...

Haha.. Really though, I bet even though as Ace mentioned, Flamini, Ambrosini, Pirlo, Pippo and Ronnie have all been , I wouldn't be surprised if Carlo fielded Seedorf - Kaka - Inzaghi...

Flamini in our last 7 serie a games:

Torino - 90'
Chievo - 30'
Lecce - 90'
Napoli - 90'
Siena - 90'
Atalanta - 90'
Sampdoria - 90'

Seedorf in our last 7 serie a games:

Torino - 0'
Chievo - 90'
Lecce - 51'
Napoli - 56'
Siena - 0'
Atalanta - 0'
Sampdoria - 90'

So Flamini plays all the time, but there is still this "Stupid Carlo never plays poor little Flamini" attitude around here. On the other hand his "favourite" Seedorf played far less but some here bash him for " always playing Slowdorf".

So much for favoritism.

Fair enough, but as far as I remember Seedorf was injured against Siena and Atalanta. I'm just saying that with Pato out, Seedorf seems more likely to play ahead of Ronaldinho... or Shevchenko.

Of course Flamini will play, I mean the man was brilliant last time! Not to use such player would be out of control!

El Fre, it's obvious that Flamini has been playing well lately and Carlo has rewarded that.

About Seedorf, I don't really think Seedorf is in competition with Flamini. As a matter of fact I don't think Seedorf is in competition with anyone. The stats you have shown prove exactly what everyone has been complaining about, even though we don't see a lot of 90's in there. Starting with the Samp game and before that for a couple of months Seedorf was our worst player.....booed by all of San Siro and bashed by all news agencies. It wasn't a coincidence nor hatred towards the player but it was true......he was playing disgraceful. Then he was injured for the Atalanta and Siena games, but sure enough he got fit after 2 weeks out and right away walked into the Napoli game where he was sh!t again. However that didn't stop Carlo from starting him again against Lecce and Chievo. So if you think about it, when fit Seedorf has only not started one game from the ones you listed and that's last week's Torino match.

The point is that it's very hard to support Carlo's decision for starting Seedorf when Seedorf has been crap since January.....surely one of the worst players for us in the new year.

@nefremo

I know that Flamini and Seedorf aren't in direct competition for a place in the starting line-up, I only wanted to show that accusations against Carlo that Flamini never plays and Seedorf always does are simply not true.

Injured or not, the fact is that Seedorf didn't feature so much lately, although I do agree Carlo is a bit too "weak" in terms of team selection, especially with Clarence. His immediate come-back to the first team after terrible performances and injury is a clear mistake by Carlo and he is well aware of it.

It was shown in the game against Torino, where See didn't feature at all, and in the fact that he played against Hungarians. Therefore, I think Seedorf is out of credit with Carlo and will not appear in the starting line-up tomorrow.

I wish to see Kaka`- sheva-Inzaghi tomorrow; nothing against R80 just that, after all these years, this combo is back... *sob*

Let's leave the trio as it was back then.....................with good memories.

On a more serious note, I wouldn't mind seeing that trident play at some point tomorrow, but I would still start with R80. However like some already said.....we might be making hopeless ideas here as there is a big probability we'll see the good old Seedorf-Kaka-Inzaghi with Ambro-Pirlo-Flamini behind.

By the way....Fiorentina is leading Roma 1-0 at the half in a really intense game. End to end action and fast paced football. Great game. Also, Jovetic has been impressive.....at least to me, it seems like every time I watch this young man play he impresses me. If he continues this way he'll turn into a leading Serie A striker in no time.
