From some Chinese sources, I read that Antonini is having contract issues with the club, so Leonardo was instructed by the management not to play him even though putting him on the bench almost every game. It has been so since the beginning of this season.

I am not sure how reliable those Chinese sources are though.

Perhaps, but do you honestly think that Abbiati is just going to be allowed to walk back into the side after eight months on the sidelines (he was apparently supposed to return this month, but it's not looking that way)?

And has it been THAT long ago already since he was hurt? Jesus.

Looks like you already have all the answers, so I am not going to bother.

Guys you say that R80 and Seedorf need rest but the player that absolutely needs some rest is Pato. He has run very much especially against RM and Roma but also in previous games and Leo has to protect him. Unfortunately he is our main threat and without him we suck offensively (just like with Kaka 3 years ago), so Leo has to think something clever.Anyway hope we get the 3 points. FORZA MILAN

True. But Pato has to play now. We aren't that comfortable in any part of our line up to sit him out now. When we begin to function great then we can play around and rest players here and there.

Also, he is red hot....coming from back to back games where he scored and was the main threat. This is what we've been waiting for the kid to do, and he can't get enough of it himself. He is beaming with confidence and IMO this is the wrong time to sit him out. Just let the kid play and enjoy himself in this good form. We can only benefit from it and so will he. Maybe if things go well we can take him out in the second half of one of these next couple of games.

This will be a tough game if we reach the second half with a negative or 0-0 scoreline. Chievo plays well and plays dangerous on counters.

In every game team needs few people to play at their best. We oftenly played too static and weak coz non of the big names stepped up. Vs Real, for example, we had Dinho ( played pretty well, at least he was obviousely figthing. Which is not something we see oftenly ), Seedorf, Pirlo, Pato who played well. And we need the same thing in serie a away games.

Do not forget, we had extra luck withrefs vs Atalanta when they god a red card for nothing and when Zambro ( as in Madrid ) made a pen on 0:1 in 80-some min. Vs Roma when we got a pen that was also relative judging from the first touch on the ball etc.

Now I'd like to see Milan take the game in the first 45min, and so we can close the game normally. Which is something we havent done in some time. And its needed coz of the energy players save.

I expect Flamini to do well as a DM, Pirlo to play left and Seedorf to FIGHT.Also, we'll need Ronaldinho who has will from Roma and MAdrid 2nd half's. That way we'll be able to open the space for Pato ( something I talked about - the space issue - inrecent discussions about "off PAto". )

Hunter will play. Leo said how he came unprepared and the suffered from bad delivery etc. Good luck to him today, it would be nice if he scored. Its a refreshment and lift for a team.

So, my choice:
----------------Dida-------------
-Zambrotta-NEsta-Thiago-Marek-
---------------Flamini---------
----Seedorf---------Pirlo-------
-------Pato-------Dinho-----
-------------Huntelaar--------

Forza ragazzi!! Lets get 3 confortable points tonight!

Ac Milan have had a great week so far. Win over Roma over the weekend and another win over Real Madrid in the Champions League. Ac Milan will be looking to make it three at Chievo!

I will be streaming the game live on Omnisport!

Pato may be tired but definitley does not require to be rested. He may be subbed afer 60 mins o something but in his current form he should be allowed to play. And also we cannot afford to be content with a draw especially after Inter s win yesterday. We cannot let this slip. We have to win and try to cut that gap. Even if we have to field our best eleven, i dont care but we have to win atleast to be in the race for the third spot forget the Scudetto.

couldn't have asked for better results from serie a this morning. a win and we can move into a tie for 4th place and, even after a dreadful start, at least we will be in a CL spot.

Roma, Fiorentina, Udinese, Lazio, Genoa all lost today! Only Juve and Inter won, which increases the difference between them and the rest of the pack.

Milan need the 3 points today if we want to compete for the scudetto. Three points today can mean so much after we saw all these CL-fighting teams lose today. Forza Milan and I hope we see the Pirlo and Seedorf of the last 2 games rather than the ones from the last 2 seasons.

It does look very rosy this week. Hopefully we take advantage of it instead of having to regret and moan in a few hours.

Juve would be 18th if the headers wouldnt count. Disgusting team, only crosses and CF's tall more then 2m... Diego wants golden ball, buahahah....

interesting finding. I didn't really count their headers. but you know, even if the header didn't count, in today's game they would still win, because they hit the post and according to Galliani, that was a half goal, so the final scoreline would be 0.5:0, and they would still get away with 3 points.

For those who are in the United States: the daylight saving time is over in Italy but won't be so until next week in the States, so you will have to wait for one more hour to watch this game. for example, it is 3:45pm Eastern time instead of 2:45pm.
