Here is the trick: The media can easily twist what Milan Channel said.

MC said: "There is the bid from Manchester City"
Mediaset said: "Milan accepted the offer from the bid".

Words taking out of context?

I know my opinion counts for nothing, but i have to vent in this case. Kaka' has been such a voice of good behavior, of upright living, of christianity. It was the last one that made me think that Kaka' would be another Maldini, a lifelong legend. It saddens me that the name of Milan is being dragged through the mud because of this nonsense. In this day and age, where the world is in major economic shock, to have this sort of absolute greed and complete lack of understanding for everyday people, I have to turn my back to Milan. Do the right thing and send that disgusting money back-this is not a record or achievement that we want the club to be associated with. Please come to your senses Ricky, and remember what you supposedly stand for.

He should leave just before the world cup. He'll be worth more than 100mil by then.
Welcome to the modern world of football where loyalty counts for nothing. That's why Maldini will always be a legend. If Milan do agree to this deal, they'll just be another "selling" club like Arsenal.

That's true. The difference is that Arsenal are a selling club for many big clubs while Milan are a selling club for a club like Man City, a club who have much more money than Milan (there are not many clubs like City).

another reason for Kaka not leaving is the words Pele said about him a week ago(or something like that)

he said its hard to find loyal players like Kaka and Maldini these days

I have faith!

If we can get Ģ100 million we should let him go. IF we then spend at least 90% of that cash on new players.

He's a great players and all that blah blah blah. But is too good an offer and should be acceptd imo if we spend the bulk of the cash on the team.

This Kaka story is getting ridiculous. However, it looks a very real possibility that he could leave, and thinking about it as objectively as I can, I've listed the pros and cons for us in this transfer...

Pros..

- We get an obsene amount of cash
- We can use the cash to purchase a number of quality players to develop the squad
- ...Can't think of any more

Cons

- We lose one of the leaders in our squad, the leader of our attack and thus one of the figureheads of the squads
- Squad morale will drop with his loss
- Other stars may lose faith in the project we're working on (especially someone like Pato who is young and heavily influenced by Kaka).
- Who do we realistically buy with the money for our squad? We'd have to replace Kaka with an equally influencial figure and with the potential inflation this deal could cause in the market, no one would come cheap.
- Our image would be tarnished in the footballing world as no longer would we be considered as powerful as before.
- Our image and respect would also suffer in that we have never been a star selling club. To change this could potentially weaken us and potentially result in an Arsenal like selling club situation.
- The club loses respect from fans, if not numerous fans as the club is going against what is considered an important value in the club (giving into money). An Italian actor has spoken out at this rumour already.
- Potentially the seeds are sown, but the transfer could cause disharmony in the club. It's already potentially there as even if Kaka does say, the club has admitted they were prepared to sell, what message does this send out?
- This season is lost if he leaves, as we've seen how much we struggle without him (e.g. Juve match) even if he's not at his best. No chance we can replace him immediately.

I don't see this as a good deal if I'm frank. I see Kaka as an important person at the club, but I also see him as an integral part of the project. We need to adjust aspects of our play for him, but ultimately let's not forget what he returns when we maximise his capabilities, never mind the fact we need to change tactically anyway as we aren't playing our best. With Pato he potentially forms the deadliest attack in Serie A, if not the world.

It's a shame we may never get to see the result we all want, though I haven't lost hope that this offer will be rejected.

Dev im hoping Kaka knows deep down in his heart he wants to stay and all he has to say is no thanks, but is it that simple? will City come again in the summer for him if he stays, i dont think we will ever lose this rumour like Madrid hounded him for months afterwards

Excellent analysis. The biggest worry is the kind of signals we'll be sending out. Kaka is much more than a player to fans. Hoping for the best.
