Uncle Fester Just Said that Gourcuff is an excellent player and milan will have space for him in the starting 11 and he hopes gorky will decide to come back

Siregar my friend, Gourcuff scored, but he played well also. He has numerous assists and I believe you have seen him in some matches this year.

Its hard to play in Bourdoux vs Chelsea and Roma as French are not that strong you midfielders close you up more easily then in the case you played together with Kaka' and Dinho.

And Milan doesnt need another AM, Milan needs a central midfielder that has arange of movement like young Seedorf, that is technical and is playinh well intransition ( something Pirlo cant do due his running limits ).

Gourcuff is that player, and in Milan will not be used as AM, but as a CM who is a creative one. Like Lampard in Chelsea for example.

Galliani said Yoan will play for Milan or Bordoux, no other club next year and that there is a place for him in Milan as he is an excellent midfielder. I hope Galliani is not lying this time as he did last time.

MY only tactical concern is this: With Yoan in midfield, Milan needs Rino and Flamini, we dont need Pirlo anymore. As much as that sounds strange and stupid to some people. Maybe in San Siro games, but vs tough away midfields, no.

And send Clarence ( who is a player I actually adore and is a superb class and great footballer and man, a living legend who Milan owes a lot! But his time has come to leave top tempo football....) to Ajax and give Yoan no.10 and we did it all right

Zidane, Zizou, Zidane, Zizou, just stop with that and admire GOURCUFF !!

And about him compared to Zidane, many medias just say that Gourcuff may have a little less talent than Zidane but he is more constant and will be more important just because he's able to do more things on the pitch (Zidane was an AM and nothing else, Gourcuff is an AM able to play in CM or LM/LAM positions, he can defend, he is stronger physically).

And some bad news, everyone seems to tell him to stay in Bordeaux at least one more year because it will be a World Cup year and by staying in Bordeaux, he will remain a starter, whereas his status in Milan is unknown despite what said Galliani and so he could risk to lose his place in French NT.

And to finish, many medias and "marketing agencies" want him to stay in Bordeaux too to use him and make him becoming a kind of "French Beckham" (outside the stadiums) ...

Milan wont let him go easly geotav. mark my words. the same that happens with borriello, anchelotti said in public that he couldnot get the best of marco. the same will happen to gorky, which will make him wanna come back. not to forget that yoan already knows milan and already understand the meaning of wearing milans shirt. no french team will make him a golden ball winner but in milan he will have this chance plus he played an important role in his team champions league trip so i think he wanna do some more in champions league. with due all respect to all all the french teams but there are more potentials in milan for yoan. champions league is between 6 teams and milan is one of them so it will be a big factor. but most of all our management needs to show yoan that he is important and he is feaured in their plans. From what i see yoan got what it takes to be as important as zidane, ronnie , kaka ,.... etc you name it

Of course, French teams are not as good as Italian ones, French championship is also very boring, BUT Domenech watches the French Ligue 1 (contrarly to the former NT coaches), and he maybe watches French Ligue 1 more than Serie A ...

Why do I say that: Giuly and Mexes in Roma, Gourcuff when he was in Milan, Trezeguet in Juventus, all these players had/have had problems with Domenech when they were in Italy (for Giuly now it's over even in France, for Trezeguet, I think it's over, for Gourcuff, it's ok now but he wasn't a real choice of Domenech, just a choice medias told him to do because of injuries from other players, Domenech can thank them because Gourcuff saved the French NT, and for Mexes, problems only start).

Also, when you know that, if Gourcuff's main objective for next year is to play the World Cup as a starter, so he will stay in Bordeaux, it's the safer choice he has to do with this goal. If his main objective is to win titles and especially playing in Champions League to win it, Milan will be his choice.

And another point: if we unfortunately don't qualify for the next CL (I can't imagine that anyway), let's forget him to Milan ...

So, to conclude clearly, Gourcuff will take a decision relatively to his next aims ...

PS: Milan won't let him go easily but they won't have any choice if Bordeaux pays and Gourcuff decides to stay there ...

i totally agree with you geotav, but you cant deny that Yoan has established a place for him self in french national team and i guess he has earned his place and got the fans trust and the coaches as well. i cant imagine domench wont get gorcuff because he is playing at milan. his job is a stake and he wont risk his job by bashing at serie a by not calling the french players at serie A.
so what i think again, our management to show gourcuff that he is taken seriously and a champions league seat which automatically will earn him a starting spot in south africa 2010

Actually, the main problem for Gourcuff coming to Milan is not to be a starter, and it's this way he could lose his starter position for French NT ...

And I'm afraid that this stupid Domenech could say to Gourcuff to stay in France to play all games instead of maybe sitting on the bench in Milan ...

Anyway, again, the cards are in Gourcuff's hands ... so he will say what he will decide when it will be time !!

Personally I think we MUST do what we can to get Gourcuff back, as he’s potentially integral to our squad and for the future. He is starting to really shine in France now and without a doubt on the international stage he is being noticed. If we aren’t careful, we will lose him, because he clearly feels he wasn’t appreciated at Milan based on the way him and his father speak about us.

I say he will be integral to us because undoubtedly he has the talent to play for us, which I don’t think was ever in doubt, but more importantly, he’s versatile and can perform numerous roles in our side. This will be beneficial as he will be able to fight for a place in the midfield immediately (and probably get a starting role). However, when the time comes and we need to look to replace Dinho (which is only probably a couple of years away), Gourcuff can naturally push forward if need be. That is of course if we’re still using the same (or similar) system. Point is, Gourcuff can play a huge role not just immediately, but in the long term at Milan.

He’s an ideal candidate in our current midfield if we’re looking at the role many see Janku performing at the moment, which would also be healthy competition for the spot. I spoke of needing a runner during the match against Roma, and while Gourcuff isn’t a powerful runner like Janku, his movement is superb, an element of his game we saw at Milan. It’s his off the ball running that would strike the balance we would require in midfield, as I can see him performing a similar role to Seedorf in the past, with Pirlo as the playmaker and one of Rino and Flamini as the ball winner. Essentially, we’d have two strong runners in midfield and a creative force essentially as our engine. Gourcuff’s aggressive style of play could be used to our advantage as we know he’ll fight for the ball too. As for the doubts as to whether he can perform this role, let’s not forget in his early days at Milan (when he was highly rated) he was playing on the left side of midfield.

With a better balanced midfield without the over-inflated egos we currently have, we would see a much stronger and fresher Milan next season. Essentially, our starting 11 would have a number of younger talents...

---------------------------Abbiati? (32)--------------------------
Zambro(32)------Nesta(33)----Silva? (25)----New LB (?)-
-------Rino(31)/Flamini(25)----Pirlo(30)---Gourcuff(22)---
-----------------------Kaka(27)---------------------Dinho(29)-
----------------------------------Pato(19)-------------------------

The next stage would be to remove the deadwood from our squad and bring in fresher talents. Leaving would include Maldini (not deadwood), Favalli (or Kaladze if we can expect the same performances he gave this season), Emerson, Sheva and possibly Pippo (won’t happen though).

So the conclusion is this: Galliani is a complete idiot who put buyout clause to gourcuff loan deal, and he showed he has no faith in him. Yoan said he hasnt spoken to Carlo at ALL. So why would the man come back to Milan? At the age of 23/24 he'll be sold to Madrid, Barca etc. and will continue to play his great football.

Milan needs to PROMISE him first 11, by selling Seedorf and making Yoan CM alongside Pirlo/Flamini and Gattuso. Carlo needs to contact him, talk to him, but that monkey is not capable of anything nuless it invulves players that are his close firnds. I hate him deep from by football heart, and the way he behaves and threats talented palyers.

Nahhh, **** it.

----------Flamini-----
---Rino-------Yoan---

That is a modern midfield who can play direct and fast football. Pirlo can join when he gets fir to actually run.

I don't see why you've recently given up so much on Pirlo, he's has improved a lot lately.

There is no 'public' evidence that we have ever handled this well. When he was bought he was already talked of as a great prospect but we didn't give him many chances, we were playing 60+ games and a young player who is mentioned as a big prospect should play. Then we send him on loan to get the games he needs, but put a buy out clause in it.
But the biggest problem of all is everybody is talking about him as if he just became a good player, I have no doubt he was already that two years ago and if that was recognized more we shouldn't even be in a position that losing him is a possibility.

Till the end of the season there is 19 games. Wahct how many Pirlo will play the best he can. With full tempo, full grit and full motivation. And then you'll find out why I have given up on such player.

Vs Roma he was good, yes - for 60 min! First 15, then last 10 in the half. Then 30 min in second half. **** that. The rest he didnt try. Just like Clarence.
