Fantasy Signings: Players Milan Should Buy

i would like it if we can do this during the summer

buy:
- gilardino from parma for 16M (or was it 25M?)
- jankulovski from udinese for 6M i think it was
- sissoko from valencia for around 10M
- di vaio/di natale/esposito/miccoli for around 8M

sell:
- inzaghi for around 12M
- tomasson for around 11M

After today's disappointment, i would revamp the midfield a little, thus giving us a much better squad. It's not a complete knee-jerk reaction as i would like to see these players here anyway, whatever the result might have been.

I would sell:

Tomasson - £8-10 million
Rui Costa - £8-10 million
Dhorasoo - £2-3 million
Simic - £2-3 million

Total - £23 million roughly.


I would buy:

Jankulovski - £6 million
Cassetti - £4 million
Ferrari - £8 million
Pizzaro - £5 million
Juninho - £6 million
Crespo - £8 million
Gilardino - £12 million

Total - £49 million

Total spent - £26 million

For a club our size, i think that is within our reach and is quite a modest total in spending.

Those players would give us so many different options in attack and defence. You could possibly even get Miccoli aswell, but that might be a little too luxurious. It is alot of players, but then Crespo is already part of the squad. Jankulovski and Cassetti would be replacing Pancaro and Simic respectively. Ferrari would be ahead of/equal to Costacurta and replace Coloccini. Pizzaro and Juninho can play in a number of midfield positions and Gilardino would replace Tomasson. Simple, all worked out

I always wondered why nobody would sign Etoo, Now Barca has and hes one of the best strikers in the world right now. Once he and Ronaldinio realise they are more likely to win something at Milan I would love to see one or even both if possible. Unless Adriano realises it first of course

I think that if we got £5m for Rui Costa or Tommason, it would be a more realistic value.

Surely Van Der Vaart would be a good option at around £8m (Ajax are skint and his contract is up 2007)

Similarly Miccoli would be a steal at £5m for the forward role!!

I know we have a good goalkeeper, but I belive that Hildebrand is available for £1.5m, could be worth getting and loaning out for experience?

There were talks recently that milan dont have a geniune replacement for pirlo and the guy that will be a perfect replacement is a guy called Pizzaro from Udinese.This guy is pure class i was watching the Udinese-Roma game and he was really the heart of the Udinese midfield he was tearing roma apart also his style of play reminds of pirlo abit,his passing is second to none as i said before his pure class. Milan should seriously look at this option and buy him there are reports that roma are interested and the commentators were saying that one of milan and roma will be his next destination hopefully milan sign him.This guy is the best replacement for pirlo, thats my opinion.

Jim... IMO to sell Rui Costa wouldnt be clever action. He is very useful player. Just imagine if Kaka gets injury.....

Sell list: Inzaghi, Tomasson, Dhorasoo, Simic.

Buy list: Gilardinio, Crespo, Bonera, Cassetti.

at first it seems like a bad idea, but he's worth more money than alot of the other members of the squad ... plus (and as this is pure fantasy ) either Juninho, Pizzaro or Seedorf could play in Kaka's role if he was ever injured. Don't worry rae, i thought of that possibility

On a serious note though, i do hope we can get Pizzaro, he would be a great addition and hopefully we'll get him and Jankulovski from Udinese.

If you can get Hildebrand for £1.5 million i'd very surprised indeed Stuttgart would be fools to let him go for that tiny amount of money, so i don't think that's that realistic.

pizzaro i agree is amazing.. but sissoko is not worse... if we can get one of them id be extremely happy, howecome no1 talks about sissoko other than me?

rae, why would u want to sell dhorasso?

about etoo, that would be really nice... hes such an amazing player.. but i dont think barca would sell, besides he loves it there

Trust me.., there wont be any other team buy pippo or tomasson with that price tag..

cuz I do not see a place for him when Rui, Seedorf, Rino, Kaka and Ambro are not injured... IMO he is a great player though we have no possibility to use his talent... he better find a team where he could play more

PS: I havent seen neither Pizzaro nor Sissoko. What kind of players are they?

Yes I like Van Der Vaart too! He will be super in Milan! So why not???

I don't get to see any Spanish football, so i can't comment on Sissoko mk

I wouldn't mind Van der Vaart, my only question is could he handle being a sub ? Because if all our player were fit, he wouldn't get in the starting line up, in my opinion anyway. If he can accept that, then he has everything else to become a great milan player, that's for sure.

I bet he will take care of himself I have no doubts that if he enters our squad, he will become starting player insead of Seedorf, Dhorasoo or Serginho The only thing which can stop him is Galliani and his trasfer plans
