That would depends how Pato's performs this year. If he manages to hit 30goals in all competitions and stays healthy, his price tag could be 80mil. With that money, Berlu can get both Ganso and Nylmer. Then it would be the Trident from Santos in Milan+ Ibra. Pretty exciting stuff if you ask me.

Honestly, if any team offers over 60Mil for a player, it is impossible for any clubs to refuse. Unless that club is in the middle of a dynasty like Barcelona, then it is a different case.

Didn't think on Robinho replacing Dinho as I see it more like a second striker than as a winger, but he definitely can play there, your theory is waaaay better than mine, so I'm gonna stick to that now

I think Paolo3 raises an interesting point here. It always seemed strange to me that the deals we have been structuring all start payments next year. Take Ibra, for example, we were rumored to have 30 million euros to spend but we are not going to start paying for him next year. Now I know we have a few expiring contracts coming off the books by then but exactly how big is our transfer budget going to be in 2011? It seems like we are either going to have a humongous transfer budget next year or something else is going to happen to fund all these purchases. I for sure hope this year is the beginning of yet another super milan era, but there are troubling signs that suggest I shouldn't get my hopes up just yet.

I know what you say, sometimes is really difficult to reject a massive offer, but honestly, like some other people here, I think Pato will be a once in a decade striker, kind of like Ronaldo or Sheva, and he clicked so well with the fan base that would be a sin to sell him (not that we didn't do it before, I mean selling our symbols), specially at such a young age, but it's all hypothetical, hopefuly Robinho comes and partner Pato in Milan for the next 5 years.

Lets look at our book.
In June, it was announced that the budget for this summer was 30Mil.
Milan paid 7M for 3 youngsters and 4.5 Mil for Papa also sold Staori for 4.5Mil. Then got Amelia, Yepes and Boatang on loan. Since guys like Dinho Gattuso, Pippo, Oddo, Zambro and Ambro all accepted a paid cut. The saved salaries from those six should be enough to cover for salaries for those three loans, Papa and the increase to Pato.

From that Milan should have at least 20Mil to spend on transfer. That is more than enough to cover Ibra's wages at 8Mil, means 16Mil expense from Milan. Meaning 4Mil left over.

If Hunter does leave for 14Mil. That's is 14Mil income and about 4Mil save on wages, 8mil less expense from Milan. A total of 22Mil increase. That along with the 4Mil left over from above would be enough to pay the transfer fee for Robinho. Lets say his wages is the same as Ibra, 8M and 16Mil expense from Club. That would pretty much put Milan in -16Mil from the start but given the chances of going further in CL, Round of 16 without Ibra and Robinho to QuarterFinal(at least), that's should be an additional 5-8Mil, including gate Revenues and TV rights.
The previous merchandises sales estimate would also increase by at least 2Mil due to Ibra and Robinho as well as winning more games.

Season tickets sale will remain the same as both signings are late August, but the regular gate incomes should also increase by another 2Mil over the long season.

Over all, I think Robinho's wages/salaries will be recover from going further in CL, gate revenues and merchandises sales.

In short, Milan will be able to balance its book again by next summer.

Bare in mind, I used all that only based on Hunter's sale. If Borreillo, Janku, Kala, Oddo and whoever is sold. Milan will only get more money.

Like I said, if Berlu is going to build another Dynasty based on Pato, Robinho, Ibra, T. Silva, Flamini and on the last legs of Dinho, Nesta and Pirlo. Then it is foolish to sell Pato for any amount. But if Berlu just wants to win now and cash in on players, and then ride the legs of Ibra, Robinho, and others for making it to CL, then spending big again. Then he will probably sell Pato for 60+mil.

So I was off by 1 Mil. Point is that, unless something dramatic happens(crashing out of CL and not finishing top 4), Milan will be able to balance its books by years end.

Juventus have reportedly just changed their minds over signing Milan striker Marco Borriello and returned their attention to Sampdoria hitman Giampaolo Pazzini.

According to TMW, Borriello is asking too highly of a salary, which is turning the focus away from him, and back to Pazzini.

The 28-year-old is seeking a €4 million per season deal, which the Bianconeri do not wish to agree to

I am happy that Borri is staying, as Milan needs another TRUE CF. Having Borri, Ibra, Pippo, Pato, Dinho and Robinho rotates 3 spots are great for the team.

I am curious to find out about this, but how upset would people be if Borriello ends up staying and Robinho doesn't join us? As much as I would love that swap, I actually don't hate the idea of Borriello staying either. Robinho is talented, but Borriello can also be a very effective player for this team still.
