Yesterday I thought of a crazy idea with Flamini as LB and Silva as RB ---Silva---------Nesta-------Good CB-------Flamini--- is a very strong defense. If we play 4-3-1-2, there are less pressure for CBs, but more for side backs. But Flamini doesn't want to play there and we still don't know about Silva though I think he'll be more successful at RB than CB. Quote:
Uhm, it is great if we can sell Dinho & Rino for 30 - 35M. By selling Kaka, we free large amount of wage cost. IMO, the too high wage of Kaka affect our contract policy a lot. If Dinho is unhappy with wage cut, let him go. Rino & Oddo should go, too. Kala is despicable, get the money about a year wage and still can play for another team. He will be free next season, Geo, for 3.2M 4-3-1-2 will bring more balance. The forwards trio of: Pato, Hunter, Borri has more diversity than even Sheva, Pippo & Tomasson, keep them and add any forward (Paloschi), we'll be ready. However, if no good wingback come, we will sorely miss the crosses. |

With regard to Dinho, he has been nothing short of fantastic this season. Honestly, the amount of assists he has dished out, let alone the amount of chances that he has put on a plate for our strikers to miss (I'm looking at you Borriello); he's also in Serie A. Honestly, La Liga is a joke when I look at it. Teams play with the grit of a pick-up game, and it seems that anyone can score 20+ goals there. Watching Dinho, you do see that he has lost a little pace, at least the ability to use it at will, now its like he's a video game player and he only has 3 "boost" powers a game that he has to use wisely.
However, even watching the Samp game, he seemed to give us the chances to come back in the game. And I think that its funny that we say the problem with Dinho is that we are not playing like a team with him. Do you remember what it was like the last two seasons with Kaka in our team? Dinho's presence has changed the team, considerably, and that is one of the reasons why we have suffered at certain points, but, also the reason why we have done better in the league with less quality than Kaka had. Dinho's style encourages team play, which means we have to rely on others to do their job well, and many times, jobs that they are not specifically supposed to do. Because of the space he opened, it means that Ambro and Gattuso have had more shots than they usually would. Remember that assist to Gattuso against Real? Or the last one against Sampdoria? The trouble with Milan is that our players are still useful, but, they are not designed to play in the style we are playing. Ambro and Gattuso were in the team to provide the stability for Kaka to do whatever he wanted. Regardless, I am worried about Dinho's unhappiness, and not for the reasons you think. It is obvious that Pato and Dinho are very good friends, and they are dedicated to the project because of Leo. I am scared that Leo is leaving, but if Dinho were to become unhappy too, I don't think it will affect Pato in a positive way. Its not secret that when the two of them are playing, Milan is a fearsome team, and I don't see how we can be surprised how Milan is playing when we are missing our most important players. Take Lucio and Maicon out of Inter's back-line and they are a very different team, even with their great back-ups. Potential team for next year, I think the management is looking at this way: GK: Abbi, Storari, Roma (or some youth, 3rd choice isn't a big deal, I don't know why everyone made a huge stink over Roma) RB: Oddo (?), Bonera*, Abate* LB: Zambro*, Antonini, De Vito CB: Thiago, Nesta, Yepes, Astori, Onyewu, Albertazzi, Marcus CM: Pirlo, Flamini, Ambro, Gattuso, Seedorf, WF: Dinho, Pato*, Adiyiah, Verdi, CF: Borri, Hunt (?), Paloschi, Zigoni I'm not saying that is how we will start next season, at least I HOPE not. But, I think that's going to be the basis of our squad next year. Oddo and Hunt seem the most likely to leave, and I doubt Gattuso or any of the other midfielders will leave, I just don't see them leaving. When you look at the squad like that, you realize that the rebuilding process is not as hard as we may think. Especially as I think and hope that Abate gets more chances in midfield with Flamini. Again, I don't think that this is the team we need to compete next year for CL glory, but, I think that's the base that the MGT are thinking about. So potential new players will be fitting into that framework. |

if we want to play with 4-3-1-2;
We need stronger Wing backs,both offensively and defensively great,pushing up so much,great crosses,very good dribbler and fast Wing backs... Then we have a player like Seedorf in 2002-2006...i completely agree on that... Then we need a trequartista...then everything is solved... Big spending...i'd rather to have a striker like Fabiano,Dzeko or Adri,then Hernanes and Tremoulinas and Simplicio and Cacau from Bosmans...maybe Kallström.Would be valuable signing to us,its better to have a player like him instead keeping Kaladze,Gattuso,inzaghi in our roster...(not need to name more,Oddo,Jankulovski e.t.c.) SOB Galliani killed our squad...its time to fix it... Tremounlinas Hamit Altintop(or better wing back,its hard to find better Wing back for Right,maybe we can convert Silva to RB and sign David Luiz) Hernanes Krasic as AM...its hard to find a good AM,Krasic as AM is great... Abbiati Hamit Altintop Silva Nesta Tremounlinas Flamini Pirlo Hernanes Krasic Pato Borriello... i know we cant afford them even if mgt wants it... You want a 11 like this?4-3-1-2... |

Besides the famous Big 3(Robinho, Neymar and Ganso) imo, only Arouca can really come in and improve our team. There's also another guy to keep an eye, the starter at RB(and some times DM), his name is Wesley. A second-striker turned into a RB/DM by Dorival Junior(Santos coach), that has really caught my eyes this season. I still want to see what he can do in Brasileirão, since I take with a grain of salt state championship performances, but to be fair with the lad, in the games that imo matters(Classicos/Derbys) until now, he delivered. What imo, is a great sign... Quote:
You're right regarding Neymar, every time he's on the spotlight and you think he will feel the pressure, he excel! Amazing!!! Regarding Neymar head, there's no signal of a possible problem in the future. A very down to earth kid, and all reports that I heard shows also it's a great locker room player. But he has the same problem Robinho had, the agent, Wanger Ribeiro ![]() The guy is a p****, and only cares for his own money, caring less for the player. It's not coincidence after the transfer to Chelseas fiasco, Robinho fired him(Kaka too). On the other hand, Neymar(unlike Robinho) has a operating and seasoned father(he's called Neymar too, and is a former player) in the world of football... and until now, showed no signal of greediness or of to be easy to manipulate. So, I expect less influence from that character, Ribeiro... Back to the tough question, unless Neymar goes to a team(coach) that try to turn him into a winger(like they did with Robinho) there's no way he will bust in Europe. His game, like Robinho, doesn't rely in holding onto the ball so long. He isn't the new Messi as some lame newspaper in Madrid are claiming. Besides the superb(I said SUPERB) finishing skills, they are completely different players. So, I don't see the problem with his future adaptation in Europa. What you know is a doubt that I have with P. Henrique Ganso. Said that, Pato, a CF all his young life in Brazil, is learning a 3rd position in his short tenure at Milan, and already show is a reality in Europe... and all this performing in big games. So, why not to have the attack of Brazil in 2014 WC playing for Milan right now? I know, I know... we don't have money ![]() So, despite agree Neymar will be a golden ball in the future, I'm all against the swap... and I still think the day he(Pato) play his position all year, in a good team, he will be contending for the same prize. Personal opinion: You don't trade a young world class player of your squad, even for a Neymar type of talent. But I would trade 3 very good players for him(Neymar) without think twice. Quote:
It's always good to have a good debate... and in what concerns me, your opinion is welcomed. Last edited by Brasileiro; 20-04-2010 at 13:13. |

Even more now, we are free of Parreira and Zagalo!!!!![]() Quote:
Shame... Leo would have benched Ronaldinho for him, because Gourcuff would have made the Brazil NT scheme work. He is a guy that could do Zico's role. Regarding Kaka, I would welcome him any day. But I doubt Florentino sell him... and I also hope Brazilian players wake up to what represent to be Brazilian in that team... Your post make me dream a little: ------------------Pato------------Borrielo----------------- ------------------------Gourcuff-------------------------- ----------Flamini----------------------Jucilei-------------- ------------------------Hernanes-------------------------- ------Antonini----David Luiz-----Nesta--------T. Silva------ ------------------------Abbaiati--------------------------- One can dream ![]() ![]() |

Good for Inter. Their owner spends money and makes a competitive team. Berlusconi should learn, or get lost.
As much as it boils my blood that it is Inter carrying the flag, I want Berlu and Galliani to be completely humiliated by Inter. I want these parasites to be covered in shame. |

![]() Actually, the main problem with Berlusconi, is it really that he doesn't want to spend because he is at the head of the Italian government and would show the bad example in a crisis period ? Or is it "just" because the ton of investigations against him nowadays ? As long as there will be investigations, he won't spend as he could have to pay for all he did, and so he needs to keep that money, just in case (that could last until his death as there are several investigations right now and there could be more in a near future if I'm not wrong).
