I am convinced Milan isn't spending big anymore, despite the need to replace players and revive the team precisely because Berlusconi saves heaps of money for Ronaldinho. He is the big bosses dream but that dream hurts the team, there is no way R10 will come to Milan if we are not qualified for CL, that is if he even wants to come and if Barcelona wants to release him, that's a lot of if's to me, in fact too much if's to become a reality.

Eventualy Berlusconi could give up on him and then decide to go on a signing spree a la Chelski, Real or Inter, but then who of the big names will want to come to play UEFA cup (at most) ? Right, no one.

Don't take my opinion for fact and I hope I am wrong, but that's the way I feel about it.

I agree that he is a blessed footballer, but i do not think that we need him, at least not for 125 million euro or whatever his price tag is.

We should IMO rather focus on:
keeping Kaká from Real Madrid's filthy hands
buy a great GK (Buffon who else?)
get a great (young) defender (like Barzagli)
find a strong striker to work alongside Gilardino (If Ronaldo comes cheap, why not give it a shot? he's one of my favorite strikers anyway)

We can probably get all those for the price of R10

forget about Ronaldinho. That's my point. Milan is a team, not like Barcelona where dinho is the one shining star and everything is about him. (that doesn't mean that Barcelona not have other star-players)

Seems like Inter wants to sign Ronaldinho as a revenge for Milan signing Ronaldo:

Inter are a joke, I cannot see thier money matching that of bercu's. Trust me if he has his sights set on R10 then he will be playing for us start of next season. I would prefer if he didnt come tho, just like beckham his an actor.

Ronaldinho to Inter is the biggest load of crap I have ever read, what is he going to do in the Argentinian team? If he would move to Italy it would be to AC Milan, guaranteed.

And there I thought Inter couldn't possibly get more pathetic. They're supposed to be top dog in Italy right now and yet still manage to act without any class. They're beneath Milan and Juve, and it's not because anyone puts them there.

Well... Ronaldinho is one of the best players in the world so it's not strange that Inter want him too. But their timing could have been "better". Now they just look even more like that bitter neighbour we've always known.

to them!

i think Ronaldinho would much rather join our Brazilian national team instead of Argentina fc accross town is it true Adriano was being bullied by the Argentine players at Inter?

I don't think Ronaldinho will care too much.
He may prefer Milan but if Barcelona wants to sell him to Inter then he'll accept it.
The main party here is Barcelona. If Inter offers 150 M EURO and Berlu's offer is 10-15 M Euro lower, then Ronaldinho will play in Inter ( God forbid ).

Moratti can also match any Milan offer. He's just as rich as Berlusconi and much crazier than Berlu. He's so much frustrated for what was happening in last 17 years that he'll give everything he has, if needed, to beat Milan and Juve in every possibile field.
He'll give 200 M if needed just to show he's the boss, and Berlusconi is smart enough not to push it !

I think both parties - Dinho and Barca - are important here. Given the drop in his performances for Barca and the increasing problems and tension around his name, I think it would be in Barca's best interest to cash in on him at the end of the season.

You can't expect however that Dinho would accept just any offer and if he doesn't accept it, Barca can't do squat about it because the more they stall his move, the more they risk on losing from his value ... not to mention that his current contribution to their team hardly warrants the wages with which he's burdening the club's budget.

All in all, as long as he's determined to go to Milan, or another team, and not Inter, Barca have 2 options - keep him and watch his value go down by the day, or cash in on him for whatever amount of money Milan or Chelski are ready to offer ... and it will still be a lot of money, way too much money, if you ask me.

Why I think he won't go to Inter - their image of underachievers, the problems Brazilians are facing with that private army of Argentinians around them (I am sure Adriano has had only nice words to say about that), and above all Milan's strong Brazilian connection and their tight relations with Dinho's agent/brother, who would probbaly find it cheaper to just move to Milano given how frequent his visits have been in the past half year or so.

If Ronaldinho leaves Barca it will be only Milan. All the recent events are pointing that way. Berlusconi already had numerous meetings with his beother and dinners with Ronaldinho himself. Ronaldinho said many times he admires Kaka' and Milan's curva. PLUS, now we have Ronaldo and we have a chance to play with Ronaldo-Ronaldinho-KAka' next season!

And one more thing that I've been telling some of mine friends....my theory

Oliveira's agent is Ronaldinho's brother. We all know that of course. BUT, we ( Milan ) have payed 16 mil + Vogel for a player that has been injured for a long time and completly out of shape. What is his real value? 5,6 mil at most. WHY? Agents are the ones who take a large procent of transfer deal that they seal. Selling Oliveira to Milan for such a large sum of money, and landing Vogel is a super job done by Dinho's brother. Without him, this would never happen im sure. So, the part of the money has already gone to Roberto's pocket. To be honest, its not love that connects Ronaldinho and Milan, its money. He broke negotiations with Barca several times, as Milan is offering him HUGE amounts of money. 12 mil per year+commercials+connections with his brother+brasil colony in Milan.... = ronaldinho-kaka'-ronaldo

Sure, you have a point, but many many things will change till June and we can only speculate for now.
I still think money will be the main reason for Dinho and Barcelona chosing a club.
If Zambrotta really prefered Milan then he could have also forced Juve to sell them there. But a good money offer changed his mind. Dinho should be no different. Buy 1-2 more Brazilians, sell 1-2 Argentinians and problem's solved for Inter regarding that issue.

And like i said, many many things may change and they all may influence his decission.
Who'll win the CL ? Will Milan play CL ? Will Milan have to play CLQ and make Dinho wait until late August with his decission to join them ? Won't it be safer to accept the better money offer from Inter in June allready ? What will happen after the latest scandal in serie A ? How many Brazilians will be left in Milan if Oliveira, Cafu,Serginho and Dida all leave this summer ?

Many unknowns for now ! Things will be much clear in June/July and only then we'll know how big the chances of Dinho going to Italy are !

Moratti is NOT as rich as Berlusconi. Moratti and Berlu both are equally crazy, but the past shows that Moratti has always made BIGGER mistakes than Berlu, latest being the case of Martins.

The craze for Ronaldinho among Milan fans is not as much as it was last summer. I wouldn't want to crowd our team with Ronaldinho. There is something beyond his control and that is to take away the spotlight from his teammates even if he being criticised and that can cause serious problems for the team. The wise decision would be to just let him shine at Barca.

But there is less doubt that Barca would like to keep him forever. They have Iniesta, Messi, Dos Santos, Krkic and God know how many other real potential players in their B team. This summer would be the right time to sell him considering his form at Barca.
