To be fair, in the media Milan have acted very well after this, Seedorf on Scottish TV and Ancelotti both quoted a saying Milan lost fair and square and this incident had nothing to with the outcome - along with Galliani saying there is no plans to appeal or complain to UEFA.

The general thoughts of Celtic fans are that Milan are coming out of this having behaved properly and only Dida being the one looking foolish (aswell as the fan who invaded the pitch and Celtic's stadium security!)

When our team is down, this is when they need all the support in the world. This is the time now that we must, send them all our positive and uplifting thoughts and prayers. The desired goal is one and to reach that we must focus on the positive, to move forward.

I really hope that we all as a community of supporters to our beloved AC Milan can actually benefit them, help and uplift them in this time of need.

Any good will reach them and have an effect.

May AC Milan find their way, win, win, win and continue to win raining down goals on them!!!

Not one of keepers should be at Milan.
Cafu, Serginho, Simic, & Favalli should be somewhere else.
Ba, Emerson, & Brocchi ditto.
Gila should be sold, inzaghi should retire.
If you include Maldini in that list as a retiree, then that's 13 players to be replaced, and then we'd still be short fo strikers.

Amelia/Frey, Manniger as sub, and promote a youngster.
Marzoratti, Canini, Mesto, Zambro, Zapata in def.
Banega, Maresca, Queresma, Diego in mid.
Pato, Rossi, Drogba, Di Natale, Pozzi, Ronaldo upfront.

Keep Carlo, fire Gayliani, give Berlu drugs, and get a psychiatrist for the players mental stability which is clearly lacking.
You know, these are human beings, not names on the screen in Football Manager. To throw out players who sacrificed so much for the clubs success would be a disgrace to everything Milan claims to stand for. We let our stars stay with the team until they retire, we treat them with respect and as a part of the Milan family. This is part of what makes Milan a team so many players want to join, they know the safety of being a part of the Milan family. Milans policy is to repay faithful players and not stand in the way if some of them wishes to leave.

Remember how Serginho destroyed every opponent with his runs down the left wing? Remember how a player like Cafu was sent packing from Roma cause everyone thought he was a has-been came to Milan and showed the world stunning runs and crosses and was a big part in the Scudetto win his first season? Remember how Simic has been so faithful to the club despite getting little time on the pitch and clubs have been lining up to get him? These players are good backup players even today, so why not let them stay until they say stop? Also remember that Ba isn't in the club to be in the squad rotation or anything.

There is hope guys.

Ancelotti has been quoted in La Gazzetta saying that Dida has exaggerated. Maybe they will finally drop him after this display?

Hopefully, we can get a decent keeper in January.

We are a friggin professional club, not a retirement home.
I remember Van Basten Gullit etc doing the same. Should we bring them back too?

What has Ba done for us?? Emerson?? Kalac? Fiori? Favalli?

Like all players/coaches once they've served their time, it's time to move on.

Theirs a reason we are slumping, and it's because of this family crap.

If they are no longer capable of performing, then they should be moved on. Simple as that. Simic showed great professionalism by saying he wants out. The others should take a leaf out of his book, and do the same.
No ambitions, except to sit on bench, and collect their ill gotten pay cheques.

They are NOT good backup players. Hence how we mess up when they play.

Everything about this club now is depended on 5-7 players - Kaka, Pirlo, Rino, Nesta, Oddo, Ambro, Maldini. The rest bar one or two have no place in Milan.

If your happy with this situation, then you cannot be unhappy with any result we achieve, otherwise your a hypocrite.

Now bad news...most of you have probably hear, but we reached an agreement with Buffon for a 6 million a year (4 year contract), but Berlu said no, and he chose to renew Dida's contract .

Gazzetta:

Il Milan aveva preso Buffon
Poi Berlusconi disse no

Thanks!

I don't believe this, simply because the timing of these news.
They waited to tell us this exactly at the same time when Dida is at his lowest.
Coincidence ?
If there was such a deal we would have heard about it long time ago. Some journalist would have found out about it and wrote about it.
And again it's Gazzetta. They know that most of their customers are Milan fans, they know what is it they'd like to hear ( "we had a chance to sign Buffon and we didn't do it just so we could keep this man we all hate now" .... this thing sells papers) and they write about it.

I mean, everything in this article is so wrong. Juve agreed to sell Buffon for 25m euro ? The player they bought for 50m euro when he was 23 and was still only a great talent, and they wanted to sell him for double less now when he is the best goalkeeper in the world and he still has at least 5 years top football ?
And they say Berlusconi didn't have the money to spend on Buffon because he had a planned budget for the mercato and he didn't want to brake the budget ? So the directors decided to spend the money on Emerson and Pato instead on Buffon ?
And Buffon even signed a pre-contract with Milan ? Yeah, right. If Buffon did sign the pre-contract you really think Milan would have missed out on him ?

Dunno, maybe it did happen and i'm wrong. But i really find it unbelievable. If there was a pre-contract i'm convinced Milan would have signed Buffon and Berlu would have been the first one to try to do everything Buffon to sign with Milan.

Actually I think this showed up yesterday sometime. Also, I think it came about after an interview with Berlu. I don't know, it could be wrong.

Cant believe it

Do you guys honestly think that this might be Carlo's last season? I've heard of rumours suggesting this could be his final game this weekend and if Milan lose then he's out - I hope its untrue. His record in Europe speaks for itself.

Why has this result embarresed Milan ? If you look at the teams we have beaten at Celtic Park over the yearsit should come as no surprise that Celtic won.

Keep the head up , Milan are reigning european champions, a fantastic side that will still win the group and probably the competion as a whole ? Who do you feel can stop them ?

It's not the result. It's the performance. As to who can stop us. Gayliani & Berlusconi.

I don't feel Milan played bad at all, they did not play different to the other times i seen them at celtic park, i think they only really showed their class and upped the pace after celtic scored ! why i do not know, they have the ability, it's just getting them to show it which might be the issue, maybe ageing a little aswell but i think our energy caused them a few problems as the tempo of the game is slower in Italy. Whats your thoughts on Dida ?

We are the laughing stock of Europe.

Following has been taken from another forum

Quote:
Having witnessed last night's incident involving the Brazilian goalkeeper Dida several times, from multiple angles, I am frankly baffled as to precisely what happened, and can only suggest the following possibilities:

5) Dida was the victim of a callous act of attempted murder, by an anonymous sniper positioned somewhere on the roof of Celtic Park overlooking the pitch;

4) Dida actually suffers from a very rare, very serious congenital heart condition which renders the player susceptible to heart-attack when forced to accelerate rapidly, as in the incident concerned;

3) The 'fan' who ran onto the pitch was actually a covert MI5 operative, who whilst 'tapping' Dida on the chest actually inserted a tiny, undetectable tracking device into the subject's chest cavity; for whatever reason, Dida's body rejected the foreign object, leading to convulsions and internal haemorraghing;

2) Dida was in fact caught in a freakish, and as yet unexplained, lapse in the space-time continuum, with the result that he appeared to instantaneously revert to a horizontal, protective position which he had last occupied some thirty-four years ago (and several thousand miles away) whilst in his mother's womb. It is not yet known whether the boisterous celebration of the Celtic faithful to the matchwinning goal was of sufficient strength to have caused such a rupture in the space-time fabric;

1) Dida is a big dirty cheat.

Please vote accordingly.

P.S. Just in case anyone hasn't actually seen the incident yet, here's a link:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxTm...
Thank you very much Dida.
