We still lack some pieces at the mid to make a strong run in all fronts like in the near past. But, you know what, since CL is in our DNA, maybe it will be the year... Who knows?!?!

I just hope the lesson was learned, and next season we don't strained back in Mercato. One or two quality midfield(a full back?) players next season to rejuvenate our squad is enough barring injure. We just can't wait so long once again to improve our team...

mixed feelings for me here...I`m really happy for Robinho, he will complete us. and since he can substitute directly both Pato and Ronaldniho, and alos Ibra with Pato playing Cf there will be a lot of playtime for him,and I`m sure he will understand that Ibra-Pato-Dinho are still first choice until he proves his better.

On the other hand. I`m really sad for the three guys that left Milan. Huntelar a great character who was willing to stay here to fight and prove his worth. Borriello, what can I say about him, though limited in some aspects of the game, you could not not love him for his fighting spirit and always giving his best. and finally a great thank you to Kaladze who was an integral part of the golden generation until the tragedy stroke his family,he never was the same. Even more so that he chose to be the bigger man and decided to chose football over financial benefits(bench).

Thank you to all of you, I wish all of you the best in you career.

Brasiliero - how do you feel now about Robinho in Milan? I havent seen your answer yet. Can he play as a 1st sub in here? Is he ready for that? Of course Im not even thinking about playing 4-2-4 as some say, its absurd.

How much would you play Robinho and what do you expect from him? Thanx!

The best thing this summer way the way Milan worked, it was almost comical. Galliani says today:" the wind has changed..." ?? And suddenly Raiola is the biggest rossonero on the planet, going in London to finalise the deal for Robinho!?? hahaha!

I think now we need to promote One of Zigoni and Barreta(if they are sill araound) in the first team. We lack third choice targetman now. Paloschi would be really great third striker now.



So in the end we turned up with positive balance sheet out of this mercato

Ok, so Robinho is ours and Borriello is now a Roma player. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport it's for about 15M. Not sure I liked this move. I was hoping we'd keep Borri. He is a good sub, and also I don't like seeing him with our rivals.
Now however we get more coverage for our preferred formation:

Central forwards: Ibra, Inzaghi, Pato.
Wing forwards: Dinho, Robinho, Pato.

Yes, Pato is listed twice. But he can play in both roles, depending on the form and injuries of others.
Now we only have one physical forward (Ibra), but at least we have a player to replace/alternate with Pato and Dinho.. and nonetheless Pato and Inzaghi are quality CF's. Don't know how much we can count on Inzaghi tho....

It's kind of strange though that one of our bench players (Robi) will be getting paid 5M/yr.. on the other hand Borriello got 4M/yr. I wonder if against the small teams we wont play with all 4 upfront:

It would be so sick upfront, just what Il Presidente wants. Maybe its weak in midfield, but if you think of it this is just the good old 4-2-Fantasia with Robi instead of Seedorf. We could be in for a treat.

Everyone seems to forget that we signed a 22 years old right back in Montelongo, its said that his transfer to Real cancelled because of his injury before. now we loaned him. He is 22 years old and should be signed for first team instead Primavera.

Zigoni is actually with Albinoleffe now. Dunno if it's a loan, but it probably is.

I don't see that lineup happening. Maybe everyone once in a while they will use it..especially in 2nd half when goals are needed..but they will not start out like that and ESPECIALLY not in Champions League..I promise you Italian teams will not play like that...

Our defense is solid and defensive minded which is good... but I think we'll stick with the lineup we had against Lecce

Robinho, Ronaldinho, Pato, Ibra will rotate amongst those 4 positions with Ibra starting 90% of the time...imo..
