Same old, same old. We have far to much need in the transfer markets (for example, in defence) to spend a vast sum of money on a pretty much unheralded youngster. Yes, he has potential. Of course, people said that about Francis Jeffers.

Francis Jeffers, Clinton Morrison and Danny Cadamatari were all labelled as the new and better versions of Micheal Owen. All potential should be laced with some caution.

To all of you happy with Ronaldo, I can only state the following: let's simply wait till he pick his first serious injury, it's just a matter of time.

One must take some risks from time to time... and since we're generally a very cautious side, I don't think that an eventual failure regarding Pato will 'destroy' us.

I bet when Kaka' comes back from holiday, as someone on goal.com said, he'll be really entusiastic with "new and improved" Milan! Another season with non stop playing and doing it all by himself... he'll be trilled!!

I think you´re absolutly right, they have to show Kaka that they are serious in their attempt to strengthen the team if not he will go for the money its simple as that! This time we have to go for the serie A title not this rubbish" winning in Europe is better then serie A" there is a reason why our league is in decline if one of the biggest team don't find it interesting enough! And yes I know we had all sorts of problem this season but now we don't have any excuses at all, so we better show Inter and the rest who´s the boss! Forza Milan

If I was Kaka' I would ask Milan to let me go too, or I would say buy some good players so I dont have to win CL by my self again. I like the fact that we won the CL but wining the CL was not a good thing for us because now Galliani doesnt want to send money to buy new players because he thinks we have"champions" in our squad. Yes they are champions but Champions that are probably not going to win anything next Season. Maldini is 39, Cafu is 36, Serginho is 36, Nesta is 31 (which is ok),Costacurta was like 41 and thank God he retired, Favalli is 35, Simic is 33 (and useless) I mean come on what kind of defence is this. I know these are all great players but we need to look to the future. Even Oddo is like 30 years old and Janku. Two players from our defence that are under the age of 30 are Bonera and Grimi ( He played like two games last season).

Kaka has to play with a player like Inzaghi that cant shoot, cant dribble, does not have any pace, phisicly not strong and old, Kaka has to play with Gila, this guy cant do anything exepct put the ball in the net if it is 3 yards out. By the way I can do this too. Oliveria is out of form. Ronaldo just came to Milan.

If I was Kaka I would leave if the things stay this way.

Heinze is the latest LB linked with Milan - the artcle says that some phone calls have been made to check on the players availability and is believed that Milan sees him as a very good choice for a player who could fill in two slots in defense without the team having to made a heavy financial sacrifice - expected cost, transfer fee only, is 6-n mil euros.

I can't believe Liverpool are getting Fernando Torres without any competition... From us. We need a world-class striker and he is one of the best available. Shevchenko, Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Adriano seems unlikely targets now I think.

Heinze? Hmmm... He's ok defensively, but on the attack he can't do anything and we have always had attacking fullbacks.

slight correction there - without any competition ... ends there ... unless of course you count Inter for a serious competitior with real intentions, a team that has been linked with any player out there giving out the slightest signs of breathing activity
