wow, i just finished watching the game on tivo. Bayrern did not deserve to win that game at all. We out possesed, outplayed and out smarted that team for 93 minutes. The game should of ended 1-0. Now we have to win 1-0 just to go to extra time and pk's AT bayern. This is going to be a challenge.

No bro. Any winning scoreline or a high scoring draw (more than 2-2) sees us through.

1) Dida should be thrown out of this team
2) We will beat Bayern in Germany. We are going to the semis; make no mistake about it.

i just got back from a pub here in evansville indiana, usa. while travelling, i had to drive over 80 miles and hour, while calling bars in the area to find the game. had to stay for the pens vs sabres game. after reading all the post match posts...all i got to say is...

wtf.

you people here that b1tch and complain after every loss/draw is soo predictable. did you watch the game? who was the better side? yeah milan had a couple defencive breakdowns...and as disappointing as they are... THEY HAPPEN!!! we arent playing some school team. THEY BEAT REAL MADRID TO GET GET TO US, and we DOMINATED THEM. they capitalized on 2 of the few scoring chances they got.

Now i have only watched milan for 3 yrs now, so maybe some of you are used to running over every team you play, and never loosing...or drawing. But i was more excited watching the first half of this game, almost as good as the the 2nd half of the 1st vs inter game this year. if i was a bayern fan, i wouldnt be upset about penalty's but how badly we were out played.

i dont know how you blame a goalie on a free touch on the back post?... most goalies wouldnt of even been there...

I have faith after watching how much we controlled this game, that a victory at bayern is not only possible, but probable.

Don't really know what to say about this... not a bad performance but lack of finishing hurt us. We could have finished them off in the 1st half or at least the beginning of the 2nd. Had that Gila goal not been disallowed it would have been 2-0 and I doubt Bayern could have gotten back into the game. But we got very lucky with the penalty so I'm not going to complain too much.

Pirlo was M.O.M by far, and not just because of the goal. I have not seen him in that form since Germany 06. Return leg is in Germany... more Andrea magic? Oddo, Marek, and Seedorf all hugely disappointing. Dida is starting to get on my nerves, but it wasn't only his fault.

Don't lose hope, it will be tough, but let's not be like Inter fans writing our team off before the 2nd leg. Have faith. Super Pippo will come through one more time. Forza Milan, regardless of what happens in 6 days time

Anyway, putting inzaghi in for Gila is a bad bad move; that allows Bayern's defensive line to go forward, resulting to an eventual goal. Ancelotti, unfortunately, has to take a huge blame in today's draw.

Milan also performs best when they are the underdog and their backs are against the ropes..i'll keep the little faith i have remaining. i hope we see the real side of our players..many of our players did not show up for the game today like kaka,seedorf,oddo,marek.. but gattuso and pirlo, WOW it was their performances this season..

we really never deserved to lose, but deserving a win doesnt make us go through, dominatin the play means nothin if we can't score.. i hope to see 2 strikers in munich.. kaka cudnt play well in this x-mass tree formation, and neither can Seedorf.. and on to oliveira...i remember how confident oliveira he was when he signed for us and assured us he will perform well and all that CRAP.. he has been utterly useless.. its about time he comes in handy..

pippo MUST play against empoli he isn't match fit at all!! I wish Serginho can play against Munich.. both Serginho and Pippo love playing against Kahn.. oh damn i just forgot that Van Bommel will be returning.. ahhh.. and gilardino suspended..... evrything is going against us!! i prefer it this way, rather than losin a 3-0 lead like what we have seen in recent yrs..

- Line Up: Last year, everybody could have anticipated it.

I think Oli - Pippo is our best best for the return leg. Gilardino will probably start against Empoli as he can't play next wed. I'm not worried, Milan will find a way to contain Bayern at home while scoring 1 or 2 away goals. FORZA MILAN!

With the kind of psychological weakness in this team this year (since the beginning of the year with the -8 point), I do not see Milan beating Bayern. In fact, I don't see Milan beating Roma or Man U over the course of two games, should they qualify.

My prediction: Milan, if go through Bayern, will not win in the semi final. But I would say that Milan won't even be able to beat Bayern this year, losing on away goal (1-1 in Munich is my call).

Just my two cents... constructive, thoughtful opinions welcome.

In the past, Milan under Ancelotti could beat anyteam except Milan! In the last five years, I was afraid more against small teams than big teams because it was more sure for Milan to beat big team compre to the small team. The problem of Milan in that time is milan itself. If Milan wanted to win the game, they would win. Now, I am not sure if Milan can beat small teams and I am afraid also if Milan have to face big teams.

In the past, there was no such poor marking from Oddo or no possesion of the ball after leading. How can you do a possesion if Seedorf lost so many ball? Seedorf was great in past, I admit, but now he is just to slow and he still doesnt admit that!

Our fullbacks (Oddo and Jankulovski) are still not good enough for Milan, IMO. It's a very difficult task for them to provide such a nice cross just like Serginho or Cafu did in the past. Yes, Oddo and Jankulovski can defend better than them but Oddo and Jankulovski still made poor mistakes in defending in important matches which the real champions dont do it.

Somehow I just cant believe how I prefer more to use Pancaro than Jankulovski even IMO Pancaro's skill is worse than Jankulovski.
