Unsettled Bayern Munich striker Roque Santa Cruz has called for Roma or Milan to bring him to Italy.

The 26-year-old forward is currently at the Copa America with Paraguay where he made his presence felt with a hat-trick against Colombia, but is already thinking ahead to next season.

“I am looking for a different club because I don’t want to stay at Bayern,” he revealed. “My contract doesn’t expire until next year, but I am allowed to rescind it.”

The arrivals of Azzurri marksman Luca Toni from Fiorentina and Miroslav Klose leave Santa Cruz unlikely to get a look in at the Allianz Arena, but he insists he isn’t short of other suitors.

“My Coach has told me that two English clubs are keen to sign me, but I would like to play in Italy,” he insisted.

“I really like Francesco Totti’s Roma – they are my ideal club. But if they are not interested, Milan would be good.”

"It would be a dream to play alongside Ronaldo. Get me a contract and a pen and I’ll sign right now.”

Galliani reiterates Kaka stance

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has once again insisted that Real Madrid target Kaka will not leave the Rossoneri this summer.

The Brazilian is the main objective for the Spanish champions, who have repeatedly stated that they would try to secure the player’s capture despite the Rossoneri insisting otherwise.

“I have asked sporting director Predrag Mijatovic to drop this business about Kaka,” said Galliani. “I have an excellent relationship with him and I told him enough is enough – obviously in a polite way.

“Kaka will stay in Milan. He has a contract and I believe he is happy here. This situation is annoying, but it proves that we have the best player in the world.”

Galliani also dismissed the latest reports coming from Spanish newspaper AS, according to which Kaka himself asked President Silvio Berlusconi to consider the Merengues’ offer.

“It is like the photo they published,” he insisted. “They are cunning, but they also need to know that Berlusconi and I will never agree to let the player leave.

“I have already contacted Kaka’s father and agent – when he returns from his holidays we will discuss a contract extension.”

The former Lega Calcio chief also confirmed that striker Ricardo Oliveira is set to leave the Rossoneri after his disappointing season following last year’s move from Real Betis.

“Oliveira will probably leave Milan, we have received important offers from two or three Spanish outfits. A transfer might be finalised tomorrow,” concluded Galliani.

I have a feeling that we may see Cassano at Milan tomorrow (it makes sense to send RO to Real in a swap deal). I hope I'm right, and no, I don't think that will be our only striker purchase.

Galliani talked to Mijatovic yesterday, and I think they must have talked about Cassano.

If galiani si saying that OLi transfer may take place tomorrow, than the only club where he can go is Real...its obvious that Galiani only talked to Mijatovic. I would welcome Cassano with both hands only if he accepts wage cutting and if we get another Striker,

I am not sure Real is gonna be the team to go for Oli right now ... they have yet to chose a coach - most probably will be Schuster but it's not 100% sure - and, with his difficult season at Milan, right now he is not the type of player every coach would just love to have around.

IMO he is player Real's next coach would be more likely to consider a "back-up" solution in case no one better comes as opposed to a player you get at the beginning of the transfer period and thus cut off other alternatives ... and to make matters worse, RO is non-EU player of which Real M can have only 5 on their team.

real Zaragoza and Villareal are two other teams believed to have made offers for him.

I still think that Milan could get Cassano without paying any fees of having to give RO in return ... a RO-Cassano swap under these circumstance would not be a great deal at all for Milan from a finacial point of view, I think, given that Real are basically begging for someone to take him away ... why not make some extra cash by selling RO elsewhere.

I like this guy alot, but he seems to get injured many times. We can't afford to have another injury prone attacker since we already have Ronnie and Pippo

not true. they can have three (south americans gain spanish citizenship in 2 years). If you really are Ronaldinho you would know that by now

Spanish teams can have at most 3 non-eu player on the field at the same time but can regsiter 5 such players at the beginning of the season.
as for the Spanish citizenship, I believe it's 4, which is how long I had to wait to apply for mine ... unless one has Spanish ancestry.

Cassano should be the "world class" attacker. But getting him for free should force Galliani get other players.
Why get only a world class FW and noone else, like Galliani says, when you can get for free one very good, with possibility of becoming great, attacker like Cassano and buy Zambrotta and a WC midfielder for less money than Milan will splash on Eto'o ?

Edit : Actually, who am i and who are we to say what's best for Milan ? We have no idea how things stand in the real football world and how hard/easy is to get someone.
If Galliani and Ancelotti say one wc attacker is enough for this mercato, then i'm sure they are right and i'm wrong

Please not Santa Cruz, he would be the new Ricardo Oliveira. Just bet on Alexandre Pato. Eto'o and Shevchenko will not come, Cassanno would also be a bet, so I prefer Pato.
Also a good move to show faith in Gourcuff. Milan have to let him play and develop, because that is the only way he will become good/great.
Hopefully we will get enough for RO, because the 15 million paid for him was really a waste if we let him go allready. I don't think Real will buy him, he had a very bad season and I don't see Real buying such a player.
