As for CL, yeah, I agree your theory is overstretched a little - Moggi could allegedly decide who finished 1st, I doubt he had the connections and influence to decide the rankings in the whole table though. Anyways, I do think that Dinho would come to Milan even if we don't qualify for CL namely because the guarantee for success will still be at Milan - Silvio Berlusconi and Milan's management. It's obvious that you can't win CL year after year but if there's one certainty out there is that Milan will be up on their feet again and soon enough ... and going for Ronaldinho would be more than enough for Milan to show their intention about the future of the club. You know, this is pretty much the same argument you gave why Kaka won't leave Milan if we miss on CL qualification ... Just to make it clear though - I am convinced because of all those reasons I mentioned before, that if Dinho leaves Barca - and if Barca are smart, they would sell him at the end of this season - he will go to Milan as long as Milan still think he is the answer to their prayers and are willing to go the extra distance for him ... i personally, however, hope that this transfer does not materialize because there is just too much money involved and this money could be used to rebuild the whole team and not just spend on a player who may very well never show the same results in Italy as he did in Spain. Also, getting a player with a salary as high as his would be - at least 10 mil/season - and a player who is the center of so much attention from media and fans, I think this could potentially destabilze the rest of the team, make them feel unappreciated and prevent them from focusing on the task at hand and namely winning, not posing for the cameras, making the headlines, or participating in show-off commercials. all in all, i think a move like that is better suited for a club like Real M or Chelski, not a serious and professional team like Milan ... just like I can't imagine Moggi's juve going for Dinho either.

We'll see !
But if he does joins Inter at the end i'm comming after you for giving me false hope Dinho won't join Inter. And then the 3 of us ( me, you and the Russian assasin) will go to Milano and punish Dinho for what he did ![]()

![]() btw, I think a transfer like Dinho's to Inter would be a perfect match for both sides - an insane amount of money wagered on a bet with lots of loopholes and traps in it with limited to no results i.e. deal done the Real M/Inter way.

Come on Tony, even if Inter wins 10 scudetti in a row, a milanista will never say that Inter is better team. Especially in Milano, where Inter has been laughing figure for 18 years, you cant make that up with one scudetto. And even if they win CL and scudetto, we are still bigger. That is the rivality in Milano, no objectiviti in there Tony. That is what I've been talking about when I said you cant see inter as we do, as there is speciall rivality between Milan and Inter. Its not like Milan-Juve, or "derby d'Italia" Juve-Inter. This is something special and can only be seen in Barca-Real matches. So, for us Milanistas, Inter is an laughing object and will always be. ![]()

you are afraid its true? how come? are you also against his transfer? why though?
i would like him to become, mainly because it will make milan great, attract more fans, more marketting money etc. i also think he is one of the best players in the world..its just that he hasnt managed to play so well with Kaka.. maybe its because of the tactical setup Parreira used, i dont know.. but I know if both players were in top form and combined, I know nothing can stop them.. I say give it a shot, and even if it didnt work, I know we will make alot of money from image rights, commercials, shirt sales, etc and we can always sell him at a big price, for example to Chelsea, Real, or even Inter. |

heh heh heh...Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaka in the same team...supported by Rino, Pirlo, and Brocci...throw Nesta, Kaladze, Marek and Oddo in the mix, and only other player required to make a fantasy 11...
Buffon! Sounds good to me!

if he could be had for 30-40 mil, I would probably change my opinion, but that's unrealistically "cheap" for Dinho right now. Quote:

Ronaldinho will cost a lot, but he'll bring that money in no time. Expecially if Milan has some percentage on his immage rights since he makes SOOO much from sponsorships. However that aside.......he is the only player in the world right now that can probably put the fans back in the stands. I am actually thinking that the San Siro will have 70,000 + supporters every game,....... except for the coppa italia.
It would be exciting to see him here, and I don't think that his transfer will put a stop to other pottential signings that we possibly need.

What worries me is that after spending so much money on Dinho, Silivio and Galliani will end up compromising the rest of our transfer market i.e. they will end up getting defenders and midfielder who aren't up to Milan standards just becaue Milan will have to "save" some money for the Dinho transfer. One other problem I have with this - for how long would the other players in Milan continue to be motivated and willing to givi it their all for Milan when they see that they do the hard work in defense and midfield but are getting paid 1/5th and even 1/10th of what Dinho is getting (I doubt his salary would be below 10 mil /season should he come here)? You know, people are just people after all and it's only a question of time before the special treatment and paycheck Dinho gets by Silvio, Galliani, fans, and media starts to cause the jealosy of his teammates ... and all this would quite simply be bad for Milan as it could potentially destabilize the team.
