That Giuliano kid is awsome,he reminds me of a player here in Holland called Leroy Fer,they look the same,they have the same physique and playing style.

Anyway i dont believe the rumours of Krasic and all the others at all,it was like that in the Summer Mercato and we only ended with having Hunter.

wasn't impressed by Giuliano's 2nd half, he had a few nice touches but nothing special..... #7 also didn't impress in the 2nd half... but #6 seems interesting, is he the left-back?

Damn it I got it all wrong! I thought the replay is on eurosport in 19h, and it is in 20:45 right when Milan starts!!!!! So I will not see Giuliano! Maybe they will have one more later or something

So what would you who saw first 45min say about Giuliano's football? What kind of CAM is he? Similar to any in Europe?

Yep, his name is Diogo, a left-back from Săo Paulo. Still didn´t start for first team, but now I understand why Săo Paulo people hype him so much. Still need some work, but you can´t teach that type of talent.

You can´t judge them for the second-half, hitmann... As always(and I hate it), Brazilians coaches tell the team to "take it easy" and don´t expend energy. The starters were clearly saving themselfs for the next game.

But in the 1st half, when the game was on the line, Giuliano(#10) and Alex Teixeira(#7) showed more of what they can do...

Btw, just readed that Carlo want a trequartista for Chelsea.
I have no doubt he´s doing the same that he did with Pato...
But for giuliano it will be great since Carlo is one of the few European coaches that uses a trequartista...

So Brasiliero, I've heard from you that Giuliano does not only play "light" attacking midfielder, but also has caracteristics to work in the middle and change positions? Do you think if he came to Milan he could play in serie a and make an impact like Kaka' did when he came in? ( ok, Kaka' was one in a milion, but...)

Also, even dough Chelsea cant "sign" players in the next year they can secure the players so it comes to the same point with the young ones.

But, at Milan we have serious problem with Ronaldinho who most likely will not be sold untill he cant walk in here anymore. While for the good of our club we need a CAM that can play at top tempo and ingage in some serious football. For us maybe a solution with a player like Giuliano would be a step in a good direction.

Imo, Giuliano will be better as a attacking midfielder... and as a AMD, he can make a impact in Serie A. One more time, in my opinion...

Regarding your question about a similar player(Giuliano) in Europe, it´s hard to find. But, just for to give you a picture, Giuliano is good mix of Diego and Kaká. Now, be carefull...

He is a guy that will organize your attack in a way of Diego. But he doesn´t hold onto the ball too long, and that is a thing that hurt Diego a lot in Porto´s time, and that imo will help Giuliano adaptation in Europe. Even in Serie A, with so little space...

In that way he´s similar to Kaká. He play simple but with class. Sure he can´t run with the ball like kaká, but he can score and has a better work rate. You will not see Giuliano doing a lot of tricks, it´s not his style. But you will see some amazing dribles, and more important, a guy that will make your attack work. Coincidence or not, since he left Internacional for Brazil NT, his team started to lose. They still are looking for the first victory since he left, and his coach is already moaning to the press for to lose him for a amateur championship.

Also, he run a lot, and is always in moviment. Typical player that will have no problem to adapt to European game. Hard-worker, good kid, leadership, talent...

As I said before, Internacional didn´t sell cheap, and after this WC U-20, his price will be high. I just hope if not for us, he land in the hand of a coach like Carlo, that like a AMD. I hope Giuliano didn´t become a new Anderson because of his work rate. A amazing AMD, turn into a normal DM or CM

He´s fast, Dru... Not Pato´s fast, for sure, but not a slow player. But what I like is that he plays fast. Giuliano is always looking for the pass, and doesn´t hold onto it...
Take a a look at the 2nd goal here, and you will see him in a sprint. It´s better to watch than read my words

i know how everyone says that Berlu doesnt spend money on Milan because he doesnt want to look like he has no connection to the common man, but how does having a poor team that doesnt play well make him look any better? If teams like Genoa and Samp can put together really good teams for very little money then why cant we?

I think we should get the player from Hoffenheim. Eduardo. Much better than bucky or slowdorf.

I think this game against Bari really sums up the condition of the team:

A team full of has beens trying to play catch up with a newly promoted team and got dominated;

A coach who has nobody on this team that he can rely on to get the job done watching his team got dominated hopelessly;

A GM looking on desperately from the sidelines hoping the flunkies he brought in can at least score a damn goal to save his life;

The once almighty San Siro sitting at below half capacity and booing the hell out of the home team.

I hope Berlusconi was watching the game because that's what this team is all about now. I hope he is happy because this is the milan of his dreams out there, lousy team, terrible management, hopeless coach and the fans booing. I wish all the money he made from Kaka's sale made him real happy, because the scene at the Bari game yesterday would depress the hell out of anyone who cares about this team.

This is the consequence of having a National Prime Minister as our club owner. In a healthy economic climate yes he would spend time and money on the club and no body cares. But in the current economic climate there is no way that he would put much focus on it even if he wanted to. How would the jobless people in the country look at him? And how would other world leaders look at him? He will have a hard time to explain. So I don't think he will do much at all at least this year.

My worry is that if that new Platini's policy kicks in in 2012 and we are still not able to build a decent team by then, then even if a rich man take over our club we would still not able to buy any big star. God helps Milan.
