I have not been posting here a while, and I saw was entering dream world about football players than hot babes. I think there might be just too much male bonding going on here.

Back to topics.

Personally, I don't think signing as many free players as possible is a good way to strengthen the team. As there must be a reason why they are free, either age or not talented or just exp(wage).... I think it is time for Milan to promote youth, let Verdi, Albertazzi, Struasser, Zigoni and others play in the first team. Ofcourse the results might be finishing out of CL and getting knock out of CL in the group stages, but that's probably the only way to fix Milan in the long run, given Berlu does not want to spend any money. As I really don't see the point of relying on Seedorf, Pirlo, Ambro, Zambro and other over 30 players for one final push year after year. With all these youths, let them play and see how talented they really are, if they are crap, cut them loose right away, if they are solid and good, keep playing them. And if one of them ever becomes like Messi, then Milan hit the jackpot and then build the team around him for the next 10 yrs.

Btw, there's no one style of play in Brazil. Thats a common sense that imo hurt a lot some European clubs looking for a player here. Teams from Rio have a style, from South a more Serie A style, and from São Paulo there's a mix. You have Santos playing a style no one play in Brazil, and São Paulo(and Corinthians) playing more like Europeans. There's no one style of play in Brazil... this is a myth and a big misunderstood.

A professional team that still believe in this type of prejudice(no offense) will lose a lot of opportunities. I know that a lot of teams(and people) believe in this Eurocentrism thing, and are more willing to pay a lot of money in "a proven player in Europe" as example, but we know this can't be taken as a fact. There are lot of flops(Europe to Europe) that were bought for a lot of money, and were considered as players that already have proven something in European football.

A Club need to do their homework, see the character of the player, if he is a hard worker, if he's coachable(sp?), if his style of play combines the style of the League(and team) and things like this. If a team purchase Neymar to be a winger, or Ganso to play in a 4-4-2 flat, they will be throwing money to the wind.

A amazing purchase for any team in Europe. Santos has until 31 August to pay 3 Millions(Euros) to São Paulo for the rights of Arouca. Just 3 millions... unbelievable!!!

A box to box mid turned into a holder(#5) and the guy that was the engine of this amazing Santos team. Was a regular in Brazil youth teams and is a sure thing for the NT after S. Africa WC. Imo it's a crime he isn't going right now, but thats Dunga, and he likes more G. Silva's and Josué's.

With 15 millions, we can buy him and Jucilei and have a SKILLED and strong midfield for years 9 or 10 years. But you will see... a team like Benfica will pay this for both, and we will be only watching... and in the future, we will be linked to them when they are out of our reach(money wise)

I dont disagree with anything you say, but don't you feel 25 mil for a player who hasnt performed in main league or libertadores is alot. I'm not saying santos will sell them for 15. I'm saying it's unlikey a european club will offer that YET.

About those 2 players you said Milan can get for 15mln - of course, but its better for us to "spend" 5mln on some unknown player like Mattioni becouse that way Galliani can earn 4mln himself and Braida can be in Rio for a month..

We cannot even ick players that fit our sistem coz we dont have a sistem anymore. They still dont know if Dinho will stay ( that means 4-3-3) is gone etc.

Again we saw yesterday what a smart signing is doing ( milito and motta!! ), but since we only bring in campioni we are fine as it is.

Juciley is a player I need to watch more, I dont need to watch Neymar and Ganso more coz its a matter of time ( and a bit of luck not to get injured or have some problems with the coaches, club etc. ) and they will become 35mln players that Milan cannot pay. We cannot even pay 15mln for Krasic, a modern CM player that every team needs for a running power in midfield.

And somone said its OK that Silvio doesnt pay anymore if he doesnt want to - no its not! LEad the club to the highest level or ciao! We are not mediocre club, we are AC Milan! Telling lies and jokes in papers is fun, but is also disgusting to see.

Milan fans dont have balls to boycot the club and to say "its enough! Go away from Milan.". Respect to the Athens people by the way, my full support. Where is our Greek friend these days?

15mln for those 2 players would be a STEAL, and maybe the best (money wise - quality ) investment of the summer. But then "campioni" would be on the bench, or maybe even sold and noone is wiling to pay 4mln per year for Seedorf anymore.

We didnt mention in here that according to the press Milan practically bought Pedro Leon and Eder ( Empoli ). Spaniards on the internet praise Leon as a future great player, while people also praise Eder on youtube comments...

Both players have not wasted non-eu places which is good. Rumors also say Dzeko is willing to go to Bayern in the summer ( not strange coz Bayern has great relations with all German clubs and always buys the best players from any club they want ).

well at least Pedro Leon and Eder are not old has beens, so maybe its a step in the right direction, and like Mrki said they wont take a non-EU spot so we could leave it for a really great player from brazil or Dzeko or something

17 year old player from Hajduk Split who hasnt played for senior team yet. Today the interwiew came and the boy/man said that the offer from INTER arrived 2 days ago and he is going to sign for Inter and that is it. No Milan in one single word from him.

Well there isn't much going on you know , I don't think mrki said that Galliani and Braida will starve . But you know nothing exciting happens. Or nothing at all.

They first say that the young guy could join the NT (as vice-Kaka') while Ronaldinho will not have his place, and that Milan would like to take him to replace ... Ronaldinho in Milan. They report that we have been after him for months.

PS: I read several times here that South American clubs couldn't sell their players for more than 15-20M. But didn't we pay 24M (something like that) for the unproven Pato (U18, one season in first team, so for people wanting to reply "he was already a proven player", please, save your time ) ? I think people are wrong to think so, if South American clubs and more especially Brazilian clubs can hype their players well, refuse some offers and manage to attract many big clubs for a player, they could sell their players for a high amount of money very easily.

Ganso as CAM means PAto where he should be. OK by me, as my oppinion was always that Pato cannot continue as a RW for a longer period then this as it would be a wrong thing to do to the player.

To be fair I cannot say Ganso IS a player that can now come in Milan and play at the level we need, as I simply havent seen enough of him. But if the people in Milan decide he can do it, and Brasiliero says so, then ok.

But its a simple joke/rumour. Still, I do agree with the idea we need CAM and that our team cannot play 4-3-3 coz of powerless midfield. Its more harm then positives.

News: Mexes will be sold according to calciomercato. Ferguson wants to buy Modric and Bale ( but Tottenham is now 4th and will play CL so... and they dont need money ). Balottelli made "peace" with Interisti.
