Certainly not what they are planning to do now. I doubt any real quality and ambitous players will even consider coming to Milan knowing they have no intend of bettering the sqaud.
And my point was, we are not going to spend money so... lets use the money saved from contracts expiring and selling Huntlelaar and Ronnie to buy some younger talented players that are more suited to our squad and are up for the fight. Huntelaar and Ronnie have never shown up when the sh!t hits the fan.

Smeh...I hope these Pato rumours are true. I don't know--if we are going to cover ourselves in shame, we may as well go the whole way.

We are not a big club anymore; not because we aren't winning but because we are not behaving like one.

Thinking about Milan these days turns my stomach. Thinking about Berlusconi makes my skin crawl.

I know. Isn't that amazing? All Inter's recent success dates back to when they "stole" Ibra from us. They used him for a few Scudetto before dumping him for $$$ and UCL success.

All Galliani has been doing was praising his amazing friendship with someone that got us players like Onyewu and Huntelaar, or berlu's hooker money, aka, $65M. It is sad to admit that perhaps Beckham deal was already our peak in the past few seasons.

Just buying youth to complement the veterans next season will land us in trouble, no matter their quality (well i'm assuming we won't be buyin 15 millionplus youngsters like Pato)....

They'll take too long to adapt, and the verterans will be one year worse next season (more slow, less energetic etc.)

We need the mid aged players, especially Flamini if he stays to stand up.....
Getting players in their prime (24-28) are expensive, and that is what Milan can't afford. So we better pray these guys lift next season, or whoever the hell the new copach will be, give them some more responsibility and trust.

Besides that, it's about time players like Oddo and Favalli make way for Albertazzi and De Vito, which I feel Leo has already started.

Calciomercato reports that Tassoti will be the coach of Milan during the North American tour at the end of the month/start of June ...

If it is confirmed, it would be the first real indication that Leo won't be the coach of our team next season ...

This is precisely why you have to reinvest every year with a player or two, and maybe a youngster. This lifts the pressure off them having to deliver from the start and they can integrate at their own pace. We should have been doing this since about 2005/6 but instead we decided to stay with our 'champions' and overpaid subs rather than do a 1 in 1 out policy with our weakest/oldest players.

did you all see Millitos goal for inter? damn what a nice goal, even tho there was a slight deflection, it doesnt take away anything for how great this player truly is...

they sell Ibra, get Eto plus 40m (we got 65 for Kaka), they bought Milito, Motta, Lucio (free), Sneijder all with that money, along with Eto'o, all those 5 players are now starters for Mourinho. What did Milan do with the 65 million? We bought a girl called Jan.

How can people not blame the management and blame Leo? How?!

Because Leo made a man into a girl. That's the answer.

they are both to be blamed...leonardo is using 4-3-3 with huntelaar on the right wing and that's very very wrong.imagine shaq o'neal playing playmaker position in basketball and having a terrible season but everybody expects him to perform how he does as a center -the best.huntelaar doesn't know to play as a winger and shaq doesn't know how to play as a playmaker.

I really doubt Van Basten has what it takes to be the coach of Milan. Personally, I would prefer someone from Serie A who has managed to exceed expectations with a mediocre team. My vote goes to Sinisa Mihajlovic.

I would tend to think that way: for a coach, his main job is ... to coach the team. So if his team has a tour or any game, as long as the guy is the coach, he has to coach. If he knows there will be no game, only holidays for some players and in our case an international competition for others, he can then have another temporary job as a commentator. If the coach ends his contract, he can also become a commentator. It's what happens a lot in France, both with under contract coaches and some who have no contract with any club nowadays (Wenger, Deschamps, Luis Fernandez, Courbis, Denoueix, Guy Roux, ...).

So if Leonardo is a commentator of the World Cup while our team is coached by someone else during friendly games, in my opinion, that just shows that Leonardo won't be our coach after our last official game.

For the articles on Calciomercato, I didn't search again, but just found it again on TMW this time: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan...dnotizia=24420

Bijon, are you telling us you want Allegri ?

We'll know Leo's future next Sunday if Tassotti is correct, so we won't need to wait too long.

Van Basten has officially taken himself out of the race for the job, citing his ankle as the problem. Not sure how much truth is in his issue, but it could be interpreted in any way, given that he apparently only recently met Galliani and Berlusconi. The rumour is also Galliani prefers the partnership of Galli and Tassotti (presumably after Leo), while Berlu Van Basten.

I don't think MVB is a good manager, I mean if you think Leo is stubborn with playing 4-3-3 with Hunter on the right wing, well, Leo is in a whole new different level. I still remember the game against Russia. Leo used Kyut as a main striker while leaving RVN and Hunter on the bench.

Anyhow, Good bye Leo, thanks for a good season, hope you will do better in your next managerial job with an owner who is willing to spend proper money.
