Except that they are two completely different players in terms of what they bring to the right-back role. If you prefer a solid defensive right-back that offers little of the width we need from our full-backs then that's fine, but the team would suffer from it.

Oddo is the better choice for right-back between the two.

I think oddo plays better but I'm not sure about 3 years left of Oddo. I prefer at least 5 years of Bonera.

Now just Tevez and Mascherano.

I thought is was £ 2.5 milion + Simic , Brocchi or Foggia.
I hope they leave Bonera in Milan.

If Coppola goes to Livorno , maybe we can get Amelia.

Vogel , he is not bad but I can understand his possible desire to leave.
Vogel to Man U in exchange for Rossi ? Probably very unlikely.
It was a surprise for me to see Bonera in this deal. La Gazzetta is a reliable source... so this probably indicate that Gallas can come in the end. As well as Buffon or Amelia.

If we give Bonera to Lazio and get Oddo and Gallas we have made a super solution. But if give Bonera and fail to get Gallas, we didnt do anything for a CB position, which I doubt Milan will let happen.

To give Bonera to Lazio is simply stupid, in my opinion. We have to offer cash + Brocchi and Simic, not Bonera.

BTW: I stick to Bonera even regarding Galla's eventual transfer.

Gallas is better in skill and publicity than BonerA, Bonera is good, but Gallas could be a better option, that does not mean that Bonera should leave though!

And Diarra is surely towards Madrid. Official news coming in a matter of hours.....

If we really want reinforcement in our midfield, my bet right now we are in deep talks with MSI and those Russian connections including Roman to get Masche.....

God Carlo, don't you see that our squad is not good enough to fight in all fronts???

I think Diarra is a great player but i am not sure Milan need him at all. We have got Seedorf, Ambro, janku and a few other that can play well in the MF position and i don't think spending so much money on a player who bring a little improvement to our squad is wise. In fact, i am rather satisfied with the MF lineup currently and i would really like us to give more chance at MF to our young players instead.

The search for a second striker, defenders and keeper is the most important IMO especially the keeper position. We must bring a keeper this year cos Dida won't be here in a year time and our other keepers are plain bad. In defence, we have too many old players that need replacing in 1-2 years time and surely new players must be brought in before that.

The striker position is the last of my worry though cos i am quite confident of inzaghi and Gila abilities to score and if there is a need, we can play with 1 striker instead and use kaka and Gourcuff to supply. It would be good to bring in 1-2 good players and get rid of useless amoruso though.

Zlatanov is correct. I hate putting a value on players based on WC and Euro performances. They are indicative of absolutely nothing. Had it been so, Hassan Sas, El Hadj Diouf, and Zagorakis, to name but three, would be ballon d'or finalists every yr!!!!! Let's be real, Grosso and Zaccardo are not very good players, yet along with their palermo pal, Barone, they were on the Italian national team. Grosso had a good semi-final but let's not make him the second coming of Maldini. To be fair, Zambrotta and Serginho were the two best left backs last yr. Palermo finished 8th and the few times I watched them, Grosso nor Zaccardo stood out. Barzaglie is actually better. Let the idiots of inter sign him and flaunt him. Come November, he will be sitting behind cesar and the legion of rejects inter has accumulated. Add insult to injury, Favalli will have a better yr with us!!! As for Ashley Cole, like all premiership players, he is overpriced. Chelski is willing to pay 35 million dollars for him. Let's be realistic. With the additions of Bonera, Favalli, and Brocchi being able to play the flanks, we are covered for this yr. We have simic, bonera, cafu, favalli, brocchi, billy c, kaladze, sergio, and maldini, able to play on the wings. Let's do a double scoop and get sobis and tevez, then we are set.
