Now that Leo has gone it's good to hear that we have a good connection with Rui Costa, especially since Benfica often buy some promising yet less hyped youngsters from Brasil. I know in the end it won't mean a thing if B&G don't make an offer worth considering but then again it's still a good thing to have one than none at all, eh?

It says on Football-Italia that Galli will be negotiating for Gago Guti Drehnte V.Der.Vaart Fabiano while he is in Madrid it doesnt say for some or all but i'd take them even Guti is he 34 or am I way off base.
Gago V.Der.Vaart and Drehnte would be good buy's and not what we have talked about but better than what we have also Fabiano awesome striker awesome.

Depending on our formation, Drenthe could be useful as vice-Ronaldinho. For Gago, I'd say no because the guy isn't what we need nowadays. Idem for Guti, I don't want this player, I never liked him and I hope we won't get him now that he is "old" ...

Its just a list but hey grain of salt with this , Fabiano Drenthe V.Der.Vaart and David Luiz Robinho CB that will do me...ha ha ha , impossible is nothing.

Ganso and company seem to have their work cut out for them. I hope they maintain this pace for the entire 90.

Neymar just subbed out after he had not much possibilites because of Jucilei. Haha. Jucilei started as a right full back today, and he gave the asist with his cross for Bruno Cesar scoring the 2-1 for Corinthians.


Bruno Cesar is a very good player. Best player in the second 45 minutes.

it worries me i read an article that a deal for fabiano could be finalised in the next few days.. hes 30 yrs old tho.. the last thing we need are old players i don't understand why we don't just buy dzeko he'd make the bigest difference for us how hard headed is galli nd berlu these days.. i wouldnt mind robinho either

What I want to know though, what is his game beyond this ability. Tactically is he clever (he seems it from the little I have seen)? Is he a team player and willing work for the team rather than rely on his individual ability?

If anyone who has seen a lot of him could answer my questions, I would appreciate it.

Mostly, he improved(and so much) his work rate, that I completely changed my opinion of him. Milano asked it for me some months ago here in MM, and I said Ganso wasn't ready for a Serie A. The majority of coaches would turn him into a second-forward, because they don't play with a pure #10(even with middle work rate) and 2 forwards even if their life depended on this.

Said that, Santos new coach and scheme did wonders to Ganso style. To play in a 3 man midfield where two are #10 and the holder is a former box-to-box, obligated Ganso to work hard, VERY HARD for the team to make it work... and kudos for the lad, because he really did it.

Now, I consider his work rate great, and his willingness to help the team(and teammates) deserve all the prise. Not only him, but André, Robinho and Neymar too...

Don't worry, ZB... He is THAT GOOD!!!

Don't let Dunga's choice confuses you. But to be fair, Luisão while not a W. Class CB, is a very good one, an Juan despite the fact that is injure prone, is a amazing defender.

Brazil is stacked of quality at CB position nowadays, but Dunga committed a mistake imo. The best four in Brazil right now are Alex, Lucio, David Luiz and T. Silva. I like Juan a lot too, but his injures are a risk for a World Cup.

I don't believe we can afford David Luiz price, but if Rui is really willing to help us, and wanting Huntelaar as part of payment, there's no time to lose. Sign the paper...

Milan shud sign Joe Cole, even they sale it latter, not he's for free

Thanks Brasileiro, that pretty much answers my questions about him. I know he's been compared to Zidane by quite a few people, and it's understandable given his style of play.

It's ironic you mentioned him being converted to a second forward, as when I saw him, he reminded me a lot of Rivaldo too, who was a traditional playmaker, but was used just as much as a forward (playing off of the striker). However, from what I have seen, Ganso should be used as a number 10 in order to get the best out of him, but it's good to hear his workrate is high, as for me this is extremely important to get the best out of him for the team.

What I really see in Ganso is a player who could take over from Pirlo in the long run at Milan. I don't expect him to play as a deep lying playmaker as Pirlo has done for us, but he's a player who can dictate our game. I also feel he'll need to take over from Pirlo as I can't imagine how the midfield would work with both playing together.

I think that every deal with Real Madrid will includ Pato in it.

Watching the highlights of Milan - Real yesterday made me realize how much Cafu was important to us and how his runs are incredibly important for a team that plays with our style...I mean it was pretty obvious for years but watching Cafu again last night was just incredible....Maldini played good too...not to mention my favourite player played so classy and scored two goals -- the player is none other than Manuel Rui Costa.
