Damn, Brasiliero, don't say such a thing !! If this Brazil side manages to lose against this French side with Domenech still at its head, I don't know, maybe Dunga should be banned from Brazil forever ...

The French NT version 2010 is a joke: no class defender, so already a huge handicap for the team, players who aren't in their best position in midfield and a bad formation (Gourcuff will play as a CM almost for sure, he will probably be "helped" by two pure DMs who can't do anything else than defending and missing their passes, Ribéry will probably be on the right while Anelka or Henry will be on the left with the in-form-left-midfielder/winger-Malouda just waiting on the bench), and no class striker in front of the goal.

It's worst than in 2008 and it was already worst than in 2006: I recall this team was a joke in 2006 as the coach was Zidane and they almost got eliminated in the first round ... then it's all about luck and how their opponents were afraid to play against a team with Zidane and a catenaccio style.

Anyway, Dunga said something interesting about Ronaldinho I think: no coach managed to use Ronaldinho in another position (he is only good as a kind of Left Winger), so why would he manage to do it ? I really thought Dunga was right on this ...

Manchester United interested in Borriello?

http://www.caughtoffside.com/2010/05...-in-borriello/

Well, if we could get £18 million for him then we should let him go. Silly season rules!

I know the British drink a lot, but there aren't enough liquor in the world to convince SAF to spend 18 million euros on Borriello.

I think Borri will do very well playing for ManU and in the EPL. As he is strong, got pace, and good at holding the ball.

Borriello's got pace? Haven't seen much of that...

Exchange him for Macheda and Anderson.

Inter going after Gerrard (mistake for what he'll cost at 30) Vargas and Sagna , they'll sell Maicon or Cesar or Balotelli and Muntari to add to their already large transfer fund.

There is a court case/hearing 2moro about the contract that Sky Italia has for tv rights as Conto TV wants the contracts ripped up for lack of competition , that makes no sense to me but the league may lose 571 million if it goes ahead and alot of the clubs big and small in Serie A could be in serious trouble some will go under.

I remember Ginola and Festa saying in all there time in England they were never drug tested , I remember Paul Merson and Tony Adams admittinh to being cocaine addicts in 1996 and going to rehab for 6 weeks and playing straight away NO BAN NONE.

I think that some of the decisions in Italy are way over the top , I don't think that the league will go under but damn they make things hard always creating scandal , bribes threats throwing games meh will it ever stop.

He might not be valued at exactly 18 mil. but i wouldnt sell him for less than 15 mil....He will go in the World Cup he has had a really solid season with us, actually whenever he was injury free he has scored more than 15 goals per season. He is perfectly suited for the premier league, i`d even say that he`d be more successful than Berba there. Exchange anyone??

His standard price should be around 15-20 mil euros and we all know that english club paid higher than other clubs for a player so 18 mil pounds for Boriello is not a silly offer from Manchester United.

Why should we take an older and underperformed striker? I would choose exchange with Anderson if possible. If not, I would take the money and use to be used for other target.

At that time, Dunga called Robinho for NT(people in Brazil doubted about the move since Capello benched him), gave the player confidence, and most important, put Robinho as a second striker and won Copa America. Look, Capello resume talks for itself, but in contrary of others here, just because he's Italian(at least for me) doesn't mean he can't commit mistakes.
Yes but Capello put him at winger to accomodate the team more than anything. Van Nistolrooy was clearly CF. Raul was impossible to displace from squad at that time. He was trying him at RW (since there was ZERO RW on the team) sort of how Mutu played wing for juventus for him

as for marcelo... I LOVE him in midfield. Reminds me closest thing to Serginho and I rate him more than Bastos. Like you said he's so young but we saw v. RM what he can do. He dribbled thru 4 milan players on a dime. My hope is Madrid sign some galactico LW (like Ribery) and he ends up being sold in another move of 'name over skill'

question for you: How much would Giuliano cost? All the hype (deservedly so) is on Ganso and Neymar. I'm not convinced Giuliano won't be as good a player in Europe. I loved him in u20.
