Man the only person I can blame is Lady Luck, we lost concentration for 6 mins and we lost the match, we really have been choking of late, this was a very hard loss to swallow, we could'nt keep a 3 goal lead, THIS IS VERY VERY SAD

No problem, considering the moment its more than common to react that way (Same as I did with Sheva and JDT).

I still cant believe it either. We blew a 3-0 lead against a somewhat weak offensive team.

But this is soccer, thats why its so special.

Damn.

Guys neither of us are in position to "coach" milan, but would you really have taken off Crespo who scored 2 goals and then wait until 3-3 to make 2 substitutions. What would you do?

I guarantee Carlo will still be the top man next season. Berlusconi will give him another season to pull it out

It's definitely not Carlo's fault.

The players come out in the second half thinking they have won it and they give it all away thanks to losing their heads and run around like headless chickens...

If Shevchenko was the hero last time we won it in 2003, then he's the villain now. He missed the enourmous double-chance in the final minute of extra time, a chance which was ten times bigger than a penalty, and then he missed a penalty.

Liverpool can also thank the referee that didn't send off Hyypia for fouling Kaka when he was clean through and for giving that sick penalty that Alonso scored from...

F*** this!

Crespo made 2 goals, one headkick was thrown over the line he sheva and kaka were playing outstanding. Besides, he is argentinean for god sake!! Everybody knows that he is gonna score the f@#$ penalty kick!!!

wrong. on the field, the coach cannot say anything. the captain's job is to motivate the players on the field. i think maldini lost control of the team. i am not blaming him because the team should be focused. sigh.... i am so sad. i really don't have much in my life but milan successes and now even that has been robbed from us.

and why was crespo subbed? he was playing frigging awesome. crespo for jdt? that makes no sense at all. ugh. so sad.

Rijkaard's cool.

Its 6.02 am here ... I dont think this is a topic to be discussed but I cannot resist. I really disliked how Dudek handled the penalty kicks. Nevertheless that musnt be used as an excuse for this defeat.

So you know, I dont base my opinion on one game nor Im talking within the heat of the moment.

I cant understand why Rui Costa is still with us. He has nothing left on the tank. This guy couldnt dribble past some Liverpool defenders during overtime even when he was more than fit and they (Pool defenders) were breaking down. He cant be our first option off the bench after Kaka. Bring some young blood.

This is the worst nightmare ever !! I think it's even worse then de Depor-drama ... I don't know what to say ... Milan gave 3 goals away ... very cheap ... We outplayed L'pool the entire game, only not in 10mins, and we lose !! I know how PSV felt now ... This is soooo sad ...

So Tomasson missing an open net on a cross is not villain? Serginho and Pirlo (especially Pirlo) missing the 2 penalties isnt villain? Kaka missing countless chances to release Sheva or Crespo by waiting too long and putting them offside isnt villain?

The only reason you are blaming Sheva is that he went last. Do you realize if he scored, Liverpool would have scored that last one anyway and we wouldn't be blaming Sheva we would be blaming Serginho or Pirlo(our dedicated PK'er) or whoever else. Here is who we should blame... the 11 people who were on the field during the time that 3 goals were scored. Milan has won the game and then Milan lost the game. It wasn't Sheva or Tomasson or anyone else.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Now I dont know if Rui should stay or not but that post somehow hurt (sorry, a big fan of Rui Costa) but you are right. I was disappointed with him in the game. He lost the ball once and it gave 'Pool the chance to score a 4th.
