We can still qualify. We just will have to wait a week. Yes, it will be a long week. We can be proud of the prestation of the team yesterday. It's a pitty of those two lucky goals. We also scored a lucky goal. But then I would have preferred that it stayed 1-1.
Before the goals of Bayern I noticed a real enthusiasm of the Milan supporters in the stadium. I also got that feeling again of Milan is the best team of the world. The goals of Bayern did smash that great feeling, but i can still feel it. I believe we really can qualify.

Again that was then, this is now. Dida did outsave Buffon, flip side of the coin you could say Milans players were better at taking penalties. If anything Dida has got alot worse since then ( i think that flare has done more psychological damage than anything). Buffon like good whisky has matured and got better with age.

my Gila view is a bit biased tho, my Gila poster keeps me up at night :P Funny enough you dont mension Oliviera, Inzaghi too much.. out of the 3 champ league strikers Gilardino is the best bet. Inzaghi has lost it,he was great 2/3 years ago.. and Oliviera is worse than Jose Mari..

who's we? i didnt understand a thing you said.. but man utd only had 2 chances the entire game, one was the goal and another was rooney's hopeful shot from distance.. roma missed so many chances.. just like milan yesterday but they didnt concede in the last kick of the game..

ancelotti needs to take notes from spaletti on what to do next..he prolly has no clue what to do against bayern and is just goin to field the same starting 11 he has fielded since the season started

Roma got lucky, big deflection otherwise Van Der Sar easliy saves Taddei's miss hit shot. Utd showed guts today, a man down, a lucky goal down and missing 3 of our back 4 but we still kept 3 strikers on, and they combined to score the only quality goal of the game

I think you'll find that was all accurate, the only none fact is how to interpret a quality goal, i tend to favour flowing moves that go from keeper to net in 15 seconds over deflections and rebounds but maybe thats not to your liking

I dont really care anyway, the cricket is still on so im more concerned with that right now

Stez...while Rooney looked good scoring, he was unmarked, in acres of space, with all the time in the world to chest the ball, then place it...all without being tackled..so while I do admit it was a "good" goal, I dont know much about it being "Quality" or better than the second Roma strike...

so what needs to happen for us to advance guys? I thought away goals on aggregate count as 2. So on aggregrate we are down 4-2? If we win 1-0 at bayern wouldnt that equal 4-4, sending that to extra time and possibly pks?

No, away goals only count if its tied on aggregate. If we win 1-0 we're through.

That's utter nonsense. He's a fullback, he showed his quality with the cross for Pirlo's goal and the cross for Gilardino's header. His only job defensively is to stop crosses coming in from his flank and given the first wasn't from his flank and the second was a longball from the half way he's not to blame for either of them nor is it his job to clear crosses into the box, that's the job of the centre backs. In case you hadn't noticed Van Buyten is a giant, he's 6ft 5in, Maldini can't jump anymore, Nesta wasn't close and the only player we have taller than Van Buyten is Dida, the onus was on him to command his area.
