Summer Mercato 2010

I actually thought it was a friendly with Real errr...which was odd to say the least since we are in USA atm.

Milan win 1-0 vs Chicago Fire

Goal early in the 2nd half by Seedorf from mistake on the Fire backline.

Some things about the game...

Ronaldinho- still walking around
Pato- still thinks he can take every defender on 1 on 1 and loses it 4 out of 5 times.
Mancini- actually looked fit, came on for R80 and was running hard.
Di Gennaro- needs to be moved from Milan asap. Chicken with no head would link up better with our players then him.
Brocchi- Actually played very well as the DM, broke up tons of plays.
Blasi- looked very uncomfortable
Favalli- ready for retirement
Antonini- best matchup all game vs the forward Nsarnko or something.

Funniest thing of the match is when ODDO comes on...the announcers LOVE him. Calling him world cup hero and plays the game with such poise n such...I had a good laugh. As well as Janku, saying he can change the game when pushing forward. I think they were thinking of our guys 3-4 years ago lol.

I know its summer tour but when your on the field, your instincts take over and its time to play hard, so I don't like that excuse thats its vacation and they don't care.

Nope, actually, it's just some commercial tour before sending everyone in holidays ... but it's obvious, from the way some of the players play (Pato, Ronaldinho, and others) that they are already in holidays right now.

The only guys trying to do something are the ones who need a new contract, who hope they will stay, or coming from other clubs and wanting to show to our management that they could be worth a purchase this summer.

does anybody really care about that sh*tty tour. its embarrassing that a big club like Milan needs to take such a crappy tour.

Can somone please, PLEASE, tell me what is Blasi doing in Milan? Which Blasi? Emanuele Blasi????

Why the tour? Money.

If the budget is 20, plus sales of Hunter, Oddo, Marek, Kala, Storari, half of Paloschi, Astori etc. It can be an ok number if Silvio helps just a bit and with some smat managing ( which will be a problem with Galliani the Milan hero!).

Maybe his super best friend Perez can give him VdV or Marcelo on one year loan with option to buy or something so Milan can patch up and invest into new players like Luiz, Ganso, Jucilei.

Silvio says if there is a chance for a great player he'll pay. Gerrard, Torres one of them will leave, go pay.

Also, noone mentions it, but we need to pray Cappello doesnt accept Inter job. If he does, we dont even need to start a season with Cappello in Inter and a huge budget for the players he needs.

TMW reports that Higuain is going to be one of the next "rejects" of Real Madrid as he will be put on the mercato ...

We should go for him without any doubt if that's true.

The guy is normally a CAM, but he played this whole year as a striker: that means he is able to adapt to new roles.

He is young, and he has an EU passport (he's Argentinian and French).

What do you mean by 'normally a CAM'?

As far as I know, he was known as striker when he played in Argentina.

When he arrived in Europe, and when there was all this story about him going with the Argentinian NT or the French NT, he was introduced as an attacking midfielder here ... in his first year in Real, he didn't play as a striker but more in midfield (very attacking anyway).

How is it possible that Higuain will be sold now when he played simply great football for 2 years now? What is wrong with him? I see a great CF who scores like hell... WHY? Im suspicious about that. To me he looks like a great young player who would be great in Milan

Then D. Luiz and Jucilei will come coz they adore Higuain

Real fans hate Higuain because he missed a lot in the important games.

You know, Mourinho already said that Benzema was in his plans, he wants to use him and launch his career in Real ... The possible fact that Higuain is on the mercato is probably just a consequence of that.

Anyway, just rumours right now from TMW, and there is no link between this player and Milan (even if Milan is linked with every "reject" from Madrid nowadays).

Time to wake up!!!

Higuain has agreed to three year contract extension with Real.

Man, I think even the current team will find it hard to win against this legend team...

Last few rumours:
- Del Neri wouldn't want to keep Diego and we would be interested by him ... well, the Diego of Juventus isn't a very interesting player, but if he can turn to be again the Diego of Werder, it would be the coup of the summer.
- With Allegri probably coming (for TMW, it's already done), Lazzari would be his first former player to come here ... they say it would cost 2M to pay to Atalanta, 2M to pay to Cagliari, and our 50% of Astori to give them. If someone did see this player a lot, just give your thought about him.

very useful squad player. nothing more, has few tricks has good engine. good passing good vision, crazy left foot.

Lazzari? made the game difficult for us last season and completely dominated Juve in a 3-1 win.
