What can one say?

What if Liverpool got the penalty for the Nesta handball in the 1st half?
What if Sheva's freekick had gone in when we were 3-0 up?
What if Sheva scored at the end of extra time?
What if Dudek wasn't so unprofessional?
What if?What if?

It was a great game. Imagine if Milan were on the end of the win instead of the other way around?

I can't believe it. Oh well. I watched Milan vs Marseille, vs Barcelona,vs Ajax vs Juventus. In those games they never traded goals. They were very professional performance's. Today it was not.

We need about 3 reinforcements, in all areas. Need the coach to stay the same. Need Silvio to stop interfering. And need to look forward to next season.

I would have pointed out the things they done right in the first half, they kept the ball well, looked for the simple passes. Keeping doing that and don't sit back too much because it's not won yet. I would have emphasised the point that if Liverpool were going to get anything out of the game they would have to get something early on, so it's important to try and keep the ball well for the first 15 in the second half and frustrate them as they will be throwing everything they have at us. I would have looking at getting a few instructions to the players after noticing Liverpools' change in tactics after half time.

you mean by cheating? yah that was cool.

he moved up 3 steps for pirlo's kick. that is illegal. even that frigging moron tommy smyth - pro liverpool announcer, said it was wrong, but quote "you gotta get away with what you can! however you can!"
what a bastard.

Im speaking for myself and I dont know what others think, but I blame Sheva more for that chance when Dudek came up big twice than for missing his penalty.

Here is who we should blame... the 11 people who were on the field during the time that 3 goals were scored. Milan has won the game and then Milan lost the game. It wasn't Sheva or Tomasson or anyone else.
Exactly!! When Serghinio and Pirlo were taking their penalties even I got confused with Dudek's bouncing. I was trying to picture where they would hit the pen, but the guy really put me and them off.

This guy couldnt dribble past some Liverpool defenders during overtime even when he was more than fit and they (Pool defenders) were breaking down. He cant be our first option off the bench after Kaka. Bring some young blood.
I second that motion, we need alot of young blood.I think we should just buy half of the PSV team.Young, cheap and cheerful.I think we should forget about the CL next season and rebuild the team by winning Seria A next season with complete authority.

Something needs to be done to this team. I am not saying player/coach changes necessarily, but we need that last tiny push to complete the team. I mean we came within inches of the double. We just need to find that small push to complete this team.

I am not sure of what your tone was Nadir but to make it clear I definitely do not condone Dudek's ... unprofessionalism. I didnt like how he insisted on giving the ball to the players (why cant he just kick it to them like Dida did? Trying to psycho them? Maybe im paranoid), I didnt like how he moved here and there (but thats his choice) and yes he moved up 3 steps TWICE actually and that sucked.

This is unbelievable and unacceptable. Ambro was sorely sorely missed today. We continue to have a problem with complacency against small teams and with big leads. Berlusconi will most likely sack Ancelotti.

I can't even put into words how angry I am. On the first goal Stam should have picked up Gerrard, on the second it should have been stopped for offside, and on the last it was a questionable penalty after Xabi was stopped the defense should have cleared.

And what makes you think Carlo didnt say exactly those things?? Maybe he did and it made them unncessarily cautious. We can be really childish about it but the fact is we dont know what was said and destiny was on the pool's side

Obviously when you come this close from winning Serie A and the Champions League you dont need a major overhaul. But some minor changes are needed. Something is missing.

I hope Carlo won“t be saced, he "just" have to learn how to close the game/match.
I“m scared of what Silvio will do. I hope he won“t act first (sac Carlo) and think later.
If we loose Carlo, then I think we won“t have a good next season in Serie A or CHL.

Now, let the experts continue the discussion (= you all here at the Forum)
