I think the most important thing that we need to address now is the coach. We need to know how he would like our team to play and whether he thinks he needs some reinforcements to do that. Selling/buying players without clarifying this matter first is IMO like repeating Madrid's mistake earlier this season: Pellegrini said that he was against the selling of Robben and Sneijder and never asked for players like Kaka and Cristiano.

The deadline for Dzeko's 40 million release clause passed without anyone offering that much for him or any other offer last night at midnight.Does this mean Wolfs will be looking for more ??? I still cannot see him coming to Milan for that much Fabiano looks more realistic for us with maybe as much as 13 million getting his services this season but if Brasil do well in the world cup and he scores 6 or 7 goals that will again go up to the 18 - 20 million mark.

Higuain is a pipe dream for us (and apparently he signed an extension) I got a bit excited the other day when Gallliani said a few signings will arrive and a great one , then we names like V.D.Vaart Gago Drenthe Robinho Ibra but 3 day's later and Gallianin back from Spain and nothing it is early door's yet.But Its looking like last summer repeating itself and Favalli is still playing hopefully only for the tour.

I was fully expecting Favalli Dida Pippo Oddo Janku Kala and maybe Rino to be gone and Hunter used a make weight but they are still all hear on fat contracts - Dida and we have a huge 28 man squad , I really hope the Merda treble is eating away at Berlu's pride that was something that Milan never managed to do.

And as Nalx said first we need a coach because whoever it is needs to sit and talk about a few players he would like to bring in (if he is allowed) and about a formation a plan not the same as last year.

He can be the substitute of Nesta, from time to time. honestly I`d prefer Canna over any other defender we have beside Nesta and T.S.

Don`t forget that Canna at 36 is younger than MAldini at 40 and Favalli at 39 (who actually was our third CD just last year.)
But this can be only a rumor, news-reporters maybe just assume that we are after him,knowing our mgm.

Keeping on this smart manner, AC will become the largest world consumer of oma's cookies. -

I would rather have any youngster instead of Cannavaro. Canna is not that good anymore at least at the club level. Even if that youngster gets roasted week in and week out, I would not mind as long as he shows promise. Youngsters do not ask for huge wages as well.

^^^I know , but if canna arrived with 2 young def 2 good mid it would be fine , but it may be Canna 36 Yepes 34 and Pippo extension 37 now two are confirmed and canna is a story but it does seem like a move we would make former great player and free.

About Dzeko, I think that just means that no club is going to spend crazy amounts of money this summer ... and that's good for us.
If we have really been interested by Dzeko, we had to wait for the end of this 40M release clause to try to get him (as Wolfsburg just decided that there would be no negotiation: 40M or nothing). I feel Galliani/Berlu will come with Huntelaar and 25-30M in the next few days/weeks for Dzeko. If they refuse, we'll keep Huntelaar and will "save" money (in both cases, B&G win: they welcome the so called great player, or they keep money).
So, the fact that no club spent the 40M and that the release clause (let's be honest, we had no choice but waiting the end of this release clause as we can't pay that much) is now in the past is what will maybe allow us to have the player at the end.

About Higuain, I read that it's still in negotiations for his new contract, nothing is signed ... so I don't know. Anyway, like I said when I reported this rumour that the guy could be put on the mercato, we're absolutely not linked with him.

And about Cannavaro, I'm all against it ... nowadays, Yepes > Cannavaro in Serie A. He stated he wants Napoli but Napoli doesn't want him, he has no contract, let him go in some mid-table club, we don't need him and we're not a "second choice club". Regarding his performances this season (and last season), I even think he should retire after the WC ...

And to reply Mrki, don't worry, we can start next season as Capello won't go to Inter. He already said it few days ago and yesterday it was confirmed that he would stay at the head of the English NT, no matter the result at the WC. They would be interested by Mihajlovic or Benitez right now, but Benitez was finally confirmed in Liverpool and Mihajlovic is in talks with Fiorentina. I love how Inter seems to be unable to find a replacement for Mourinho despite their treble this season !!

Milan make Bale a priority

Milan are looking to sign a full-back this summer and have set their sights on Tottenham's Gareth Bale, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Rossoneri have already scouted a number of potential candidates, like Ajax's Gregory Van der Wiel, but at €15m the Dutch international costs too much.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has since turned his attention to Bale who had a fantastic season at White Hart Lane, performing best as a winger.

La Gazzetta understands that Milan are prepared to offer Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in exchange for the Wales international who is being valued at €14m.

Milan are already making way for a new arrival at full-back by planning the sale of Massimo Oddo, possibly back to Lazio.

If their efforts to sign Bale are in vain, Galliani will inquire about Real Madrid's Brazilian Marcelo who could be surplus to requirements under Jose Mourinho despite making progress last season.

I can't believe how stupid our managemant is. Last summer when Tottenham was having a crisis, we were linked to Bale and then we could have bought him for 15M, and this year NO WAY we can get gim for that amount.

It seems like the past is repeating, since we're interested in Van der Wiel who is being valued at 15M. If we don't get him this year, next season (when he transfers to bigger club) he'll worth double...
