i was in Milan the last 2 days (i watched the Milan-Roma game) and on every sports-show on tv Sunday evening they were talking about the scandals. Although my Italian is not good enough to understand most things. But i have the feeling that most people in Milano are having a good feeling about ACMilan not being a part of these scandals.
Btw, outside San Siro, a lot of t-shirts were sold concerning Juve. I bought one that says 'Juve Ti Odio 'Juve i hate you) and on the back Juve squad : and then all the names of Italian referees. Those shirts were very very popular amongst Milan-tifosi !

From what i have been reading it will be difficult for milan to be given the title from last season......basically becuase it would too much of a domino effect....in that the teams who came 5 should be given CL money and those relegated would have to be included into this season.....

But as far as this season goes it's much more probable simply becuase nothing as been finalised as yet...Milan will be champs, roma will play Cl, and third from last team ( treviso i think ) will be allowed to remain in the serie a while juve will be relegated and be barred from buying any players for the season......

makes much more sense to be...also juve will be striped of all their titles from the 2001 season when the first phone call seemed to have appeared........

sounds even better now huh ??

Last news: Juventus Fc may go bankrupt.

No offence guys. Aren't we also involved wif Fiorentina & Lazio. Tis also means tat we may get relegated, rite? Tis does seem 2 b a complicated matter altogether. Anyway, i still feel tat Juve will escape again. They seem 2 b bigger than the Italian Football Federation.

if you go through the huge amount of threads you will realize that our involvement is minimal...read all the Italian publications...at most we risk a points deduction...that's it...so far at least.

The simplest reason Juve should be sent to Serie B is because a precedent has been set. I'm not too sure about the details but I know that Milan were involved with match-fixing, along with Lazio, I believe.
So if these two clubs have been relegated for the same scandal that Juve is involved in now, why should Juve remain in Serie A? What kind of an example would the Italian football comittee be setting? That would simply make the Serie A run by a bunch of hypocrites. Juventus simply can not be allowed to stay in the Serie A!

Down to B with Gobbi!

Things are getting pretty serious, folks... the bankruptcy of a big society like Juventus is not an affair to be considered lightly, 'cause it can be a kind of an earthquake, with enough economic destructive potential to shake the very foundations of italian soccer.

See www.gazzetta.it

They say the scudetto could end being given to Inter...

if Juve and Milan are penalized... why Milan?

After Moggi, Galliani and Ancelloti will be asked to declare...

I think Ancelotti will be asked because of his reign in Juventus.

All true but not 365 days of clear skies. Kawaii island holds the 2nd most rain a year in the whole world. Honolulu and the whole Oahu osland has probably 200-240 clear days or fewer a year, I can check on that. I know that Phoenix and some other city in Arizona or Nevada (Tuscon, AZ?) hold a record of sunshine days in the US, somehwre around 330-350 days. They also have driest climates and hottest (not too pleasant) temperatures.
LA and SD have about 300 clear days and much less rain than Oahu has per year.
SD has best climate in my mind (SANTyago will agree, wont he?), San Jose is not bad either, milder summer than SD, LA.

What island r u at, mate?

I didn't know this was the new WEATHER THREAD but yes, Meesh, San Diego has to be among the top 3 cities in the world with the best weather... our summer is 80'F and our winter is like 65'F.... and we get scared when it rains, because we rarely see it happening...

Bay area where you are is nice also, but a bit windy and chilly in the winter...

there was talk about reducing the size of the league if the juve is found guilty, if Juve and lets say Lazio are kicked out, then there would be 18 teams instead of 20

juve not only can go to serie b, but they can go to serie c1 or c2, and it's not fantasy..the rules say in case of many violations and through a fair period of time the measures can be heavier..

the rule state " ....will be relegated to a lower league", so it doesn't rule out serie c at all, as it happened with Genoa last summer for much less.

the other serious situation is that Fiat is linked with Juve and the rules on financial market are pretty strict as far as i know..
Just the scandal is causing an earthquake, with loss estimated around 30 mill.

It's not sci-fi, Juve can go down the toilet, but i think the goverment is about to get the whole thing is hand, because there's a huge risk of a big financial crack
