Btw I just jumped to search Milan or former Milan young players who plays in Serie B. I already know that Darmian plays for Padova and it seems that he is starter that but what surprised me is to see name : Matteo Ardemagni!

He was our Primavera striker a couple of years ago and if I remember correctly he featured in Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi and got hyped pretty much by fans in MM for the game. He played in Serie C1 for two seasons after graduating from Primavera and managed to play in Serie B for Trestiana last season but only scored 1 goal from 25 appearances.

This season he plays for Cittadella and has scored 17 goals. This really surprised me since I thought, he is just over-hyped young player in his spell with Milan. I don't know if he is still owned but Milan but this is actually good news.

the first time i saw this guy, i thought we had a real gem! but then he went off the radar..

i was curious to see how he was doing this year and i was really impressed with his stats too.

Its absolutely shocking that AC Milan has not a single youth player who could become a super star in future. Barca youth system has produced all these big names in the last 10 years and i think AC Milan youth system hasn't produced a SINGLE player in the last decade who could be called as 'a super star'. Okay i don't expect a Messi coming through, but players of caliber of Iniesta, Pedro, Bojan, Victor Valdez etc should be coming through ACM's youth system

Mzk, I'm quite sure Milan managed and will manage to "create" some Victor Valdes ... the question is, do you really want some Victor Valdes in the team (Dida in his bad years) or do you want a real GK ?

Pedro and Bojan, like said ACMILAN1983, are not superstars, not yet anyway. Pedro has more chances to become one than Bojan because he has less competition in his position in the team (Pedro has "just" an old and tired Henry who is officially happy to be on the bench of Barcelona). Bojan should leave if he wants to become a "superstar' because he has the skills.

Messi is the kind of player coming from your youth once a century ...

Iniesta is the only player I agree with you as he is underrated but is really an amazing player.

Comparisons:
For Messi, we had Maldini.
For Bojan, we have Borriello. We had Oddo (yes, I use a past tense here ... and he never didi it in Milan, he "exploded" in Lazio).
For Pedro, we had Foggia (but his mentality killed his career).

Our youth players just seem to need more time to be able to play in Serie A (and maybe also a better management, because when the guy is on loan each year in a different team, I don't think it's a good choice, when we sell 50% of the player, I don't think that's good too, ...). So let's wait.

I don't know about Barca and their competition in detail but I just found fact that Milan never win Primavera for so a long time.

Since 1970 when it started to have only one winner (it had two winner before), Milan never win the primavera championship. The coppa italia Milan could win once (1984-85) since 1972-73 until 2009.

For me it doesn't surprise me at all that Milan never produce any super star in the recent years.

I encourage people to download this game..the quality of football that the team plays is quite exceptional. In previous years I used to download a couple games and just see mainly ball-hoofing tactics..now the players are actually playing the ball on the ground and using their brain on the field. I'm very impressed and I'm only 15 minutes into the match.

Iniesta is an unbelievable player, and you think he is run of the mill.

surely they will get more time next year.
but its hard when you have such a close nit family group like milan, to just oust an older player for a youngster.
Ofcourse it must be done but i think if we are ruthless in doing so, we will lose the very thing our club is known for.
