Bale can play as a LB, if Sergio could and Stam played as a RB ( with a LOT of attacking efficiency!) so can Bale. MAicon never looked to be such a beast when he started as a RM, RB, look what turned out.

Im worried about this Lazzari stuff. We dont need to spend money we dont have on such players, but Galliani does that all the time. It 1000 times better to invest into a player like Jucilei or someone like Bonucci ( plus some exchange of some of our players) etc.

Lazzari will not give us what we need. We need a player that will give us a jump in a quality.

Also, maybe it would be better Milan invests into 2 great players and fits few young ones into the first team and so prepares the squad to be competitive for 2 years.

We cannot build a top team this summer unless someone gives Galliani 100mln. OK, so lets not spend money on 4,5 players that will be mediocre and make Milan mediocre even next year with more signings ( possibly ).

Why dont just sell what we can, pay, or include in the deal some players, for lets say D. Luiz ( pure class CB, FB ) and a player like Ganso or someone. Make maybe few smaller deals and that is it.

Next year again invest into 2 class players ( CF, CM ) and the team will then have a very strong "backbone" of NEsta, Thiago, Luiz, Ganso, CM, PAto, CF.... By buying mediocre players we can pay for we'll never built a great Milan again. What do you think?

Agree. Dzeko is much better player in my opinion. I believe he would make an immediate impact as Kaka' and Sheva at their time did. He's tall, not slow, has great tehnique, good goalscoring stats....

I really don't know what is that moron thinking when he is going for Adebayor who would earn at least 50% more than Dzeko if he was to come. Yes, Luis Fabiano is great player, but his age means he would be at his top for at most 2-3 years and God know how much would it need him to adopt to Serie A.

Dzeko is younger, one of the best attackers today and he plays in mediocre club (Wolfsburg fans shouldn't be offended). No, you cant guarantee he'll adopt to Serie A, but his style and strenght make him a better candidate than Fabiano for Serie A clubs, including Milan.

Btw., Juve is linked with Krasic. I wouldn't be surprised if they get Krasic (and even Dzeko) in front of us, and Gaylliani then buys Trezeguet and declares that we're fine as we are.

I can't believe that you guys are comparing Diarra to Gattuso... Lass Diarra is one of the best players in the world! Easily in my top 10 list... There's no way Gattuso is anything close to Diarra right now. Diarra is so much better than all of our DMs..are you guys crazy or something I cannot believe u don't rate him...

Personally I would like to see 2 new full backs for Milan, as neither Antonini nor Abate are good enough to be world-class, they are both simply just good, sometimes bad but never great. I wouldn't mind going for Bale or van der Wiel (if the price is right). If they didn't go for Cissokho for 15m they will not go for either of these for that much. For LB I don't feel these two are the best out there -- I think Marcelo can be better or Mario Fernandes (the young Brazilian with an Italian passport). I also like Kolarov but it doesn't look like Milan want him (we are negotiating with Lazio a sale of Oddo so we should test the waters by asking about Kolarov...and Zarate )

I also think Fabiano should never be considered. He's 30 years old, and he STILL is not good enough for us. Even the pathetic Huntelaar IMO is better, I am still convinced we did a better deal getting Hunter as now at least we can sell him for a good amount...had Fabiano come last year we would have spent 18m and he most likely would have been shyt.... I cannot believe how desperate he is, after what we did to him last year he still is flirting with Milan...

If we wouldve signed simplicio everybody would complain that we again signed a 30yo free agent. including me, 30y olds is not the way to rebuild, we have enough of them!!!! Its time for younger players. For a normal team it wouldnt be bad to sign a older player but our case is different.

Saw the news about Cannavaro on espn newsticker and I must say I am shocked...he couldnt latch on with a mid table club in Italy? or a champions league bound team? He's either that bad now or his wage demands are ridiculous.

30 year olds are not the way to go but all we have done so far and correct me if Im wrong is sign Yepes 34 and extend Pippo 37 in August , promoted young players who we all know will not play and still have Dida and Favalli knocking about and Oddo Kala Zambro Janku Rino Ambro Pirlo Seedorf and as mentioned Pippo Yepes thats alot of crap now Pirlo has done nothing for 3 years and the rest are past it ,

I tried being positive but we have no money and no desire from MGT.
Other teams are signing people and openly negotiating with players and talking about signings , and Galliani is trying to get David Luiz for Real (if its true) and that does not mean we will sign a few Madrid players last year they got Kaka and we got nothing had to pay 15 million for Huntelaar who turned out to be a flop.

I can't believe that some people really think that Galliani works for Real (you're not the only one Jay) ...

Some reports say that Rui Costa is not trying to help Milan by "giving" some of his players to us for nothing (he clearly said that Milan was the priority for all his players, and then they will consider other offers if Milan isn't interested): he could be included in our management team sooner or later, probably this summer.

After losing Leonardo (coach, scout), having Rui Costa, who has done an amazing job in Benfica, would be one of the greatest ways to rebound ...

As for Dida and Favalli, they will play their last games tonight !! They didn't get any renewal and their contracts end in June, depending on the players (in Europe).
