United young players looked promising, tho they couldn't scored a goal, but they played very well as youngsters.
I didnt really expect many goals Smith is not a prolific player and Bellion doesnt know what the goal is, though he's so fast he could probably bring home the 100m gold medal at the olympics I can see it now, he's standing on the Podium in Athens as the crowd stand to hear the national anthem, Glory Glory Man Utd

What i was impressed at was that Bayern couldnt score against a defence made up of 3 teenagers and a legendary midfielder who's hips and knee's dont work anymore

I remember hearing that in 1995 too

well considering its only a year since he last raised the Premiership trophy, added to the fact that this is undeniably a transitional period then i think he has earned the right to a few more years.

what i meant about 95 is that i remember the moaning when Fergie sold Ince, Kanchelskis and Hughes, all 3 had contributed to the double. At the time the media and some fans were complaining, saying "how will we replace the Kanchelskis with a kid called Beckham?" and "how will that young Irish guy Keane step into Paul Ince's shoes?" Fergie answered all their questions and he deserves the chance to do so again.

yes, Gio. Here's what I got from United's official site, www.manutd.com

Jonathan Spector

D.O.B.: 3/1/86
Nationality: United States
Team: Manchester United Reserves
Position: Defender

Manchester United completed the signing of promising American teenage defender Jonathan Spector from Chicago Sockers in the summer of 2003.

Born on 3 January 1986, Jon is a regular in the United States Under-17 side and follows in the footsteps of Jovan Kirovski and John Thorrington as Americans who began their professional careers with United.

Jon also had offers from colleges in America, but decided to try his luck in England, with the lure of playing in the Premiership too great to turn down.

then they wouldn't be top notch, would they
but if I see Fergie I will let him know that the mighty shznitkes1 requests that they loose all their games forever

By the way, were you that streaker during Euro2004?

Good news or bad news??
Sol Campbell is injured for 6 weeks, and Henry is doubtful for the opening match.

after spending some disappointing matches in Champions World Series - USA, United returned to Old Trafford.
United beaten PSV Eindhoven 1-0 at home yesterday. Silvestre scored in 25th min by a header, continuing Giggs' corner.
also reported that Van Nistelrooy played in that match. Maybe It was the final preparation for the new season.

United will play Arsenal in the Community Shield, August 8th.
then Champions League Qualifying against Dinamo Bukarest (Romania) or MSK Zilina (Slovakia), August 10th.
and the opening match for Premiership this season against Chelsea, August 15th, at Stamford Bridge.

and.. good news or bad news? Paul Scholes has announced that he is now retired from England national team.

even without them i cant see them struggling against Everton. Rooney is still injured too, if he had played he would have bullied Cygan

I was more dissapointed with the lacklustre win than i was with the creditable draws vs Milan and Bayern. A lot of youngsters came through that tour and showed they are close to the first team now

For England

For Utd

England didnt use him properly anyway...

I think the gunners is strong enough even without Campbell and Henry, and they now try to bid for Maniche. If the portugese in, then Vieira will sign for the los galacticos.

IMO, little ginger nut would back again to his NT.
