okay, guess there is no Cicinho that is going to be coming to Milan afterall

Candidates are: Oddo, Cassetti and Mesto

http://www.tgcom.it/sport/articoli/articolo265769.shtml

I'd pick Oddo

one article doesn't mean that there is nothing else cooking in the background. I personally would prefer Oddo too - good player, knows the Serie A in and out, won't be very expensive. As for Cicinho, I am not sure he has the defensive qualities and tactical awareness to play in Milan - at the CCup, he had one good game followed by another rather average, so I wouldn't mind watching a bit more. I am sure Galliani and co would be very careful, as usual, and will give a lot of thought before getting someone for Cafu's role.

at last someone with a bit of sense...

this guy cichino has had a couple of good games of brazil and from what can be gathered one good season for sao paulo.

if you ask me brazil is the last place we should be buying any defenders.

how would this guy fair against the likes of giggs and luque? would this player have been better at handling lee of PSV? some how i don`t think so.

the last great defender (who was a defender first and foremost) was aldair. if you find me another aldair then snap him up. otherwise lets just stick to buying creative midfieldes and strikers from brazil... (controversial i know but thats how it is...)

theres many better defenders in europe. oddo (who i dont think is anything special) is not great defensivly but still has experince of serie A and europe. theres trabelsi, bonera, zaccardo who are all still viable and better options. although with money an issue milan will probably go for oddo

he is not world class

also he is a right winger not right back
backs are important for our tactic
we dont player wingers
we play with wing backs.
ok
ı hope you understand me but cicinho is the best right back.
before confederation cup cicinho was also one of the best.
he is great
he is better than mesto in everything
just look at his dribling skills

Cicinho is ours? Just like how you said Pizarro, Casetti and Gila were ours 2 months ago?

Sorry for bringing back to the "we" topic. I've reminded that style in another thread and I guess Chris and seven were not the second and the third. I feel fooled after reading that style's words coz I thought that option was with Milan He IS dumb, if our moderators KO him forever, the guy who's hurt won't be a Milanista.

From Tribalfootball

AC Milan set to beat Betis for Sao Paulo defender Cicinho
tribalfootball.com - July 14, 2005

AC Milan are understood to have beaten Real Betis to secure a deal for Sao Paulo defender Cicinho.

While Milan chiefs have refused to confirm the agreement, it's believed Brazil international Cicinho will move to Milan when the winter market opens in January.

Cicinho plays on the right-side of defence and is seen by Milan as an eventual successor for veteran Cafu.

Some of you will say, its tribal, dont believe it. But can we all dream for a moment here?

Hope the story about Cicinho joining Milan isn't true (didn't find him good during the confed cup) ! I'd prefer someone proven and experienced like Lee Young-Puo of PSV !
