Lyon beat PSV with 0-1 in Holland but that was due to an absolute howler from Gomes. Then in the retun leg, at 1-0, PSV lost their best player - Cocu - after a red card and played most of that game with 10 men.
This being said, every game is unique by itself and if you start comparing who beat who, you will come to the conclusion that football results just don't make sense if put together for comparison reasons. You will see what I mean in the newxt two games we have in the CL

Lyon is much stronger side than Bayern ,you will see it on wednesday. I've been followinh them all season, and their midfield is REALLY STRONG. Juninho is out, so the most interesting duel will be Diarra-Kaka'. and Cris-Sheva ( aldough I dont see Cris stopping our captain! ) We just need to stay focused and move a lot. They are strong, really strong, but we are Milan and we can win this one.

I see ppl already discussing abt our possible match up barca !!! Lyon are difinitely good but not as good as bayern tho. bayern just had a bad patch. we might just get the unexpected out of lyon. they know kaka is the back bone of our attack and they are going to target him for sure! fingers crossed!

a full crowded san siro will calm down lyon a bit in the return leg..

the task is about the first leg, but we have all the experience to cope with them.

i shouldnt read too much into that mate, its to be expected. its fairly common for teams to underperform in the game immediately before or after a CL match as they are focussed on the big fixture midweek and take it easy to avoid getting injured. it wouldnt surprise me to find Houllier rested a few players.

They'll be ready for us and it will be a tough match, but we'll come through victorious

-Juninho is out which makes it easier for us.
-I say sheva should switch with kaka during the game on the left making confusion to the defnders making serginho freely attacking and crossing to pippo.
-using gatuso and ambro is more usfel in the home match to defend.

I'm staying in Australia for a while and I won't be able to watch the game on TV. SBS broadcasts Inter-Villarreal (if somebody understands this choice, please explain me).... anyway, I searched for a stream on the internet and I found out that Star Sports will broadcast Lyon-Milan. Something which we did aginst Fiorentina, and that is switching places Seedorf-Gattuso, neds to be done in here too. Gattuso can cover Serginho, and sedorf in front of Stam who s great defensively. Sheva-kaka-pippo will rotate, im sure. Or maybe even Gila for Pippo. Maldini cant play for full match yet, let Kaladze do his job.

Thanx a lot, its not on tv here in the US either, stupid ESPN thinks that Inter-Villareal is a better match to show. I watched the Fiorentina match thanks to the link you gave me, it was great quality. Ditchin school Wednesday to watch this
