I remember that back in August there where not many of us that wanted Drogba. BTW he's 29 and he (and Torres) have to proove themselves in Italy. Di Michele plays for a small club so he can end up like Gila.

no Drogba please... he took 2 years to finally pick up form for Chelsea... not to mention if he joins us... we would have the top 2 divers as strikers... each tryin' to out-do the other in winnin' us a PK... but of course Inzaghi would still lead the offsides collection ahead of him...

I said he would score against Palermo and he did, it was just ruled out

Both he and Inzaghi tried hard today and were pretty good considering they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. A $heva type striker behind either one of them would definately have yielded a goal, but Galliani's incompetance means that we dont have that type of player. Oli still has much to prove to the football world, not just us.

Yes, you are probably right...But keeping Gila is not an option. We need to try new players. Yes, there is no guarantee that they ll play well in Milan...but if we dont try, we ll not move forward.

let's try Kalac as a striker... with his height & build... maybe the attack can get to the end of crosses & long balls played into the box... surely it is not too bad an option considerin' that our [#11-I-AM-A-WORLD-CUP-WINNER-SO-I-MUST-BE-GOOD-DESPITE-NOT-BEING-ABLE-TO-SCORE-SO-FAR-THIS-SEASON-AND-REMEMBER-MY-GOALS-FOR-PARMA-AND-LAST-SEASON'S-17-GOALS] is a disaster...

Considering Inzaghi is retiring soon.. I think we should keep Gilardino. He's being played the wrong way so obviously he won't play up to his full potential. It's like playing Gattuso in attacking midfield. That's not where he is most effective. This Gila-Inzaghi combo just isn't working out for Gila.

I ll put this into your reputation - its really well-said! Maybe we should try Kalac as a striker - who knows! Sometimes the craziest thing brings great results!

So you guys want to sign a big target man for crosses that will never come. Why on earth would we want to do that when we dont play with wingers?

And getting rid of Gila for the sake of getting rid of him is ridiculous. Whether you guys like him or not and whether he is worthy of being a Milan starter we have to keep him, then you could buy your dream signing whoever that is... (Two years ago it would defo have been Gila)..and leave Gila as third place striker. That way if he came good, great, if not hes still quality backup.

Anyway, I saw Gila battle with some real heart today and Id love to say he will become a great striker for us. The truth is I cant, but like it or not hes ours until may at least and if he carries on battling like today the goals should come.

So you think that Gila didnt give any reason to make people want to get rid of him? Are you an Idealist? Because there are obviouus reasons why we should sell him - he is not scoring goals..as I wrote above what is the whole point in keeping a striker who doesnt score goals and what is the reason to pay him salary, whilst we could pay these money to the one who ll score goals for Milan? And I never thought it was such a good idea to buy Gila on the first place...Parma is a very different team, and he had just a lucky season - which doesnt make him brilliant. So to buy him was a mistake on the first place...and this mistake needs to be fixed...

So what do you suggest, that we go and sign Henry tomorrow. Idealist, no Im a realist. Get over it, he is a Milan player until the end of the season at least and thats for real!! He is all we have at the moment and unless you know a world class striker who is out of contract then he is all we have.

And yes it would be ridiculous to get rid of him. Hes young and the type of striker who will score a silly amount of goals when he matures just as Inzaghi has been doing. It is in Milan's intersts to keep him as a third choice forward even if he isnt our main striker. And going by your logic, we should sell all ou strikers as none of them are scoring.

Keeping Gila as a third choice striker? OK thats a good idea..but maybe he ll be paid as a third-choice striker too then...otherwise it doesnt make any sense. And he is not a type of striker who ll suddenly start scoring a silly amount of goals - forget about it. It was just once - lucky once for him. It ll most likely never happen again. I dont see the skills, I dont see the head control, I dont see any other abilities from this player. And other strikers - Inzaghi and Oliveira have scored this season already (considering that Oliveira doesnt get a chance to play every game, as Gila, unreasonably, has)

Look no offence, but do you even have a clue?

Firstly it wasnt once, it was twice.
Secondly he scored quite a few goals in his debut season last year too.
Thirdly, you dont see the skills, you wont until hes got some confidence.
Fourthly, the other strikers are doing just as badly, Oli scored 1 goal wow.

No offence - its just a dispute. But in fact..one after another is considered once. Last year he scored, as I said already once, only in the matches where other people scored too...like 3:0, 4:0, 5:1 games etc. So it was easy, dont you think? Its always more difficult to score decisive goals - like Sheva did.
Then, you say he needs some confidence....how much more time does he need to get this confidence? Are you inclined to wait for another 10 years? I m not. Gila is not scoring for good half a year already..not even one little ****ty goal...that means he is just not good enough. Striker doesnt score for so long - striker is worthless - he should be on the bench or out. For the bench he is too expensive.
About Oliveira - did he get a chance to open up, to show his potential? Gila got the place in the main squad immidiately after signing, and still keeps this place till now. Oliveira haven t been given such an opportunity. So this is irrelivant...they cannot be compared.

As far as Oli goes, I dont expect anything until christmas, after that I will start expecting him to run at players at least.

And no two season isnt once its twice. and the goals last year makes it three times, butIl make it 2 and 3 quaters just for you.

Yes Sheva scored some really important goals for Milan. A couple last season, maybe a few the year before that, maybe 1 the year before that. If you catch the drift he spent many years at Milan to have the reputation he now has. Gila has been here little over a year and and is going through a bad patch. Itslike comparing Gourcuff to Savisavich or Bonera to Costacurta.

All I can say is give him til the end of the season, and if he still isnt scoring then round together your little lynch mob and deal with him. But at least give him til the end of the season. Afterall, he wasnt too bad last season. And before you protest that hes had too long, just remind your self you are stuck with poor old Albert anyway.
