I would like him in Milano, so we can magically transform him into a RB!

It's not such a bad idea!
I don't know, he's too young to join us. I think he needs some more experience first

On a serious note, I don't like the player at all but imagine the immedeate revenue from the jerseys! I'm not sure but I think Real Madrid sold enough jerseys in 1 week to cover the entire transfer fee. But I'm really just wasting my time typing this because he will never come anyways

Beckham for right-back Tas? Are you serious?

I can't see how that would work, he's not very good at tackling and has no pace.

Ehm, you are right Jim, I was wrong I admit it. He would never work @ RB, but appreciate my that he is a really good crosser of the ball and thats why i thought he might be good there.

But now, it has dawned on me that ever since he went to RM he's not a shadow of his former self. Well, what dawned on me is why is that. Because, he is essentially a RM playmaker. A kind of playmaker like Pirlo is. It is cumbersome to play your playmaker at RM. Thus no coaches (and there've been plenty at Madrid) newer really got to build the squad around him. And that's what Madrid should've done. Or he could've came to Milan. We'd have Pirlo and Backham ....

Maybe there are 2-3 years more in him,... maybe we *could* still use him. The question would be, who would he cick out of the first team then...and there is no easy answer

Gascoigne, Ince, Walker, Platt had successful periods in Italy. Not in terms of winning trophies, i mean they played well for their clubs.

I can see why someone would think he'd be a good RB, so i hope you don't think i was being hard on you or anything Tas. Not at all. Different ideas and ways of thinking should always be commeded

Milan should sell Gilardino to Juve for Trezeguet... a Serie B quality striker in exchange for a Serie A/CL quality striker...

Beckham is in a way the most underrated player, in terms of credit that people give him for his game, in the world in the past two or three years. He is a talanted playmaker and its pitfull no coach noticed that. That's about as much as I have to say about him..
Jim..why, tell me, would I think that? ..

Beckham is underated? I haven't ever seen any English player who is underated. Beckham was rated the best midfielder several years ago, but now, he can't have that form, just like Fat Ronaldo.

Young goalkeeper contracted to Arsenal but plays for my local team Barnsley Fc he is Called Vito Mannone he played for Atalanta before being sold to arsenal. you may have heard of him. Great shot stopper but has one bad side loses concentration easily and dropped a catch in the 94th minute easy tap in for a luton player i felt bad for him hes only 18 and he just stood there and cryed. bit like Dida but younger!

so as you said, Vito Mannone has great response like Dida but he sometimes has funny scenes like Dida too? If it's true, I will like to see him playing in Milan very much.

Because he isnt the player you seem to think he is. I mean every European Championship or worldcup they said he is going to lead us to victory blah blah blah. When the real worlds best footballers like Zidane, Figo, Rui etc would tyrn it on Beckham was always extremely poor. He never had a good tournament. The guy is a joke and even Mclaren sees that.

When you have a player who has one tool in his locker (a chipped pass) which he uses for his freekicks and his crosses and then he suddenly wants to become Zidane in the centre of the pitch and no longer has that tool (as a result of no longer being on the wing where crosses are made) then the player himself is a tool

Beckham did the one thing he never should have. He believed the hype!!

yes he loses concentration like Dida against Inter in the Derby last year remember when Martins scored. Mannone jumped to catch the ball with no pressure and it went straight in between his hands and the striker ran round him and tapped it in but about 20 minutes previous he had a one on one situation and stood up to the striker and tipped it round post one handed. he is going to be a great keeper.
