Interesting article about Ronaldo on goal.com:

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=223999

Hmmmmm....let's see, that's Vincente Del Bosque, RVN, Helguera and Canna have all said nothing but Good things about Ronaldo. I personally thought he had a bit of an attitude problem in the dressing room....but now VDB says that he actually united the players!!! Wonder what Crapello has to say about this? Add this to the fact that Del bosque had Real in a position that you could have actually admired/ appreciated them...you know playing attractive football, winning trophies etc....I am thinking that perhaps Raul may have been the problem at Real. I mean after Ronaldo's arrival Raul- the king of Madrid suddenly looked plain.... and we all know how unbenchable Raul is....even more than Seedorf @ Milan Then enter Capello, who hates Ronaldo and loves Raul... Interesting to note that Raul has said nothing about Ronaldo's departure...but he did say that Real were going to win everything now?? was that a disguised dagger?

Meersseman said that Ronaldo doesn't need a month to gain his form
We could see him play very soon

Ronaldo's new Milan shirt with number 99!

I hope with this double 9 shirt to score the double goals that he had with Real Madrid!

What i find amusing is that we have young players : Gila is very young and the best italian young striker of the last years, nonetheless i read tons of post against them.
So, when we buy youngsters, we criticise them because they aren't good enough; when we buy an already estalished player we say he's old.
Hold on a second...It is not only about age...It is about players abilities, what he shows..rather than only his age. Ronaldo did not impress for a long time already (is it not true?) + he is 31. Crespo is continuing to impress and Sheva at the time when he was sold to Chelsea was one of the best strikers in the whole world (even though he is 30). So it is not only about age...

1) he turned 30 a month before sheva i.e. just aaround the WC

2) His first two seasons with Madrid he was excellent. His third he was bad but still manages 21 goals and the last one he was injured for half the season but still managed 14 goals.

now he's given countless interviews and declared to everyone that he's not here for an easy ride, he's here to work hard, he's here to win and to prove he's still a world class player, lets hope he actually delivers on the pitch and proves these statements accurate!

i really doubt he'd offer to pay some of his transfer fee and take a pay cut if he wasn't prepared to work

Sorry then I dont get it...if he is so good, why RM doesnt want to keep him? Probably because they see that this guy is finished...Something like Vieri. We got Vieri and then what happend? We sold him almost immidiately. I hope that it s not going to be the case with Ronaldo...however it is possible.

Its not Real Madrid that don't want him....its Capello! Capello isn't appreciative of artistic players like ronaldo.......Just look at the way he keeps poor Robinho on the bench all the time!! Cassano as well was outraged by Capello's treatment of him...that's why he's also going to be shipped out.

Capello only likes physical strikers who put in workmanlike performances.

Here is a list of players booted out in one way or another by Capello:
Ronaldo (3 time world player of the year)
Robinho
Cicchino (even before his injury Capello was planning on selling him)
Julio Baptista (currently scoring for fun in England)

Here are some players Capello plays all the time:
Raul (who has gone nealry three years withoug breaking the 15 goal/ season limit)
RVN (who does NOTHING but finish off very basic assists)

He did love Ibra though ! He used to play him even when Ibra looked more like a clown than a football player.
