What do you think about the game and opponents you wish for AC MILAN in groupe stage

It's going to be very difficult. Hopefully they will be tired as they will have played 4 games in two weeks before the final. I don't care who we get in the group stages, we will make the last 16 no matter who is in our group!

I wish some tough teams like Lyon, Ajax, Sevilla etc in our group

don't mix up things...

this thread is about Friday's game against Sevilla...

if you guys want to speak about UCL groups stage, we can do it in another thread.

AEK officials asked from UEFA their CL match with Sevilla to be postponed because of the fires in Greece.
All AEK plyers said that it's impossible for them to play football or even think about football after what happened in Greece in the last 3 days.

Sevilla players are also having similar thoughts. Their player, Puerta, is in life danger and Ivica Dragutinovic (Sevilla defender) said that they only think about Puerta and pray for his life, noone thinks about football now.
Sevilla also wanted to postpone tomorrow's match.

But UEFA refused to postpone the match and they said that since the OAKA stadium in Athens is a safe place and there is no danger for fire on the stadium, the match will have to be played

I am sure, UEFA met the that decision based on the rules they have. I am really sorry for what happened in Greece and to Sevilla's player but the reasons the players from both sides have made is not strong enough to cancel the game, IMO. Let's see Iraq who just won the Asian Cup and what happen(ed) in Iraq before/during the competition. I think, it's a good example how we have to face the reality and still can do something in a really uncomfortable situation.

Its a diffrenet case Iraq (like what you mentioned) they faced he reailty and won the Asian cup but in Indonisa not in Iraq , the same goes for Greece, if the match was going to be in Spain then there is no reason to postpone it, but in this case the match is in Greece were there is.
1- Very hot weather.
2- Fire is every where and its still dengerous.
3- The people in Greece are very sad for the victimes(I dont know the exact number but its sth like 50 +).
So considering the situation in Greece right now I doubt that any one will go to watch the match in the staduim or even at home, so postponing the match in this case IMO is the right decision and it wont be the end of the world if they do so.

UEFA won't postpone the match only because of Friday's draw.
If Sevilla and AEK don't play this week then there won't be a draw for the CL groups in Friday and there won't be a draw for God knows how long because Sevilla will play on Friday against Milan and they won't be in position to play a CLQ match on Saturday or Sunday, while from September 8th the national teams will play their matches and all the players will have to be released from their clubs 5 days earlier. If the match won't take place today or tomorrow, there will be no time for it to be played.
That's why UEFA were right not to postpone this match, no matter how un-human it may seem.

P.S : Have in mind that it makes a big difference who between AEK and Sevilla will make it to CL. One of them will be in the 2nd while one of them in the 3rd or 4th pot, so it's impossible to have the draw.

Reports are circulating that Antonio Puerta condition is very very bad, I hope he pulls through and gets to see the birth of his son/daughter.

I would rather the Seville games get postponed out of respect.

on the official site, Milan has given their condolonces for his death to Sevilla and the player's family and have shown openness to have the game postponed ... doubt UEFA will object this time as there is no reason to.
