Oliviera was useless, we played better without him!

Say, why don't Carletto give Aubameyang a chance when we're running out of ideas in the final minutes? There would be more options for us playing with 2 strikers instead of just one, plus he's relatively unknown to most defenders

Jeff, no man I aint. Oliveira has a different dimension than Pippo and Gila who are almost identical. Oliveira can dribble and use pace. We would have been able to field him along Pippo or Gila and it might have worked, but fielding Gila/Pippo together has never worked and it doesn't look too promising either. Oliveira did do terribly in his first year, I agree, but having him is better than having no one. At least if they gave him away, they should have brought someone in.

That's true, hitmannq8, although I'm quite sure that Ronaldo is brought to replace Oliveria. Unfortunately Ronaldo is injured; But again fortunately Pato will be with us by Jan. I suspect that Gila and Inzaghi will once again be on fire once they partner Ronaldo or Pato. I'm kind of excited about seeing Kaka` + Ronaldo/Pato + Gila/Inzaghi!!!!

I can't wrap my head around Milan tactics/formations right now because I'm hours away from doing my 3rd semester acting showcase for Film school. Thinking about us dropping anymore points is only going to mess with my fragile equilibrium. So let's just win this one all right? I might end up falling flat on my face tomorrow and ruining those last 3 months of blood, sweat and tears, but if I can come home and see 3 points on the table for us...somehow Curry Chicken will be okay.

Forza Milan!

3-1 to Palermo. In the days that have passed since we played Parma, I've become very pessimistic about this game. Our defence looks shakier than normal, Dida is his usual unreliable self, Pippo doesn't score in the league and Kaka is not as sharp as he was in the first couple of games this season.
Also we haven't had much luck playing in Palermo recently.

Luckily we do have some players who are doing really well at the moment, notably Pirlo, Oddo and Jankulovski. But I still have a feeling this is going to be one of our usual fall season defeats, and then the media will start speculating even more about Milan being in crisis, and.. well we know how the story goes, it happens every season. I am sure we will finish 3rd or 4th in the end anyway, and qualify for another season in the CL.

curry chicken, good luck in your acting thingy, just dont forget to give a shout out to us when you pick up an award in the future!

someone in goal.com mentioned something funny, how bout we play Gila in goal and tell him he is supposed to score against Milan. That way we wont need to worry about Nesta/Kaladze screwing up because we have Gila there keeping more goals out than Dida ever will :P

Y'know, I was set to write a critical reply. But this is a very logical post, especially about the 3-1 prediction and the resulting fallout. It's as if we're repeating the beginning of last year all over again.

As always, I am going to refrain myself from making predictions, and I really cannot predict any sort of outcome, as it will be a very tough game.Let's hope that our boys redeem themselves by putting on a good performance, as well as being in their usual sprtsmanlike state of mind.
We are all aware that the team is going through some difficult times, but it is nothing that cannot be reverted just yet.... With a win or two, our boys can hopefully regain their touch and go back to winning ways.
Also, it is good to criticize a team or any certain individual within the team, but that criticism HAS TO be within the confines of constructiveness, and lambasting them just because some of us feel like it gets us(the fans) and the team nowhere. Granted, many of us are not pleased with the recent performances of the team, particularly those of Gilardino, Dida, and even those of Ancelotti and Galliani. It is our right as fans to criticize the team and/or its certain members, however it is also our duty to support them in times of trouble... We might be in dire need of back ups and fresh legs, but that is not going to fly until January 2008/Summer 2008, when the transfer window re-opens. Until then, this is our squad and we have to stick with it, hoping that they will make it to the transfer season at the highest league/UCL spot possible.
As for the game, I cannot say that I am very optimistic, but I keep hoping that the boys will fight to disprove those who believe that Milan do not give a darn about Serie A. Well, I, too, started buying into that, but I'll be the first to admit it if I'm proven wrong, AND I HOPE MILAN PROVES ME WRONG TONIGHT! FORZA MILAN!
