I think goal.com got into Premiership trend of overrating players. Only after many games or maybe even seasons can we evaluate somebody's performance. Naming top10 prospects would be reasonable, but marking them as wonderkids isn't reasonable at all.

There are better players out there than those top 10 players listed (balotelli, di gennaro, foti etc.).. i dont know why so many people like Montolivo but I think he is so over-rated because i've never seen him play well

Yes, that's a great new. When a Milanello legend - Maldini retire, we have Paloschi and Darmian.

Paloschi gets called up to the U-21 to play a qualifier match vs Azerbaijan on Tuesday. Marzoratti is another Milan-owned player who is called up, regularly as well.

I hope they're not only overrating him... Truly, a temporarily above average string of performances aren't enough for me to rate him as our great prospect... He'll need to do more...

And yes, I'd like to see (FINALLY) a first-team Milan player from their youth system!

Montolivio is a fantastic player Ive seen the last few uefa cup games fiorentina has been in and there is no weakness in his game very complete midfielder. He would be perfect as an eventual replacement for seedorf.

He's a good player, after all. He also can play at the left side (while we lack resources there).

Any discussion about Montolivo coming to Milan should be discussed in the Fantasy Signings thread (where no source is needed for any rumours concerning him), or in the Summer Mercato (or an equally suitable thread) thread, which will require a source linking him to us (and there have been a few in recent years).

as well i know im no mod but can people stop basing there opinion on how good a player is because of what it says on FM as everybody knows Pazzini is the best

MILAN - Our 18-year-old Alberto Paloschi, young attacker of Milan, was awarded last night in florence, during the presentation of the youth tournament named after the memor of Niccolo Galli, sone of the former goalkeeper Giovanni Galli, with the "Special Memorial Niccolo Galli" award.
