Apparely, if I understood well, Pato is still in trouble with his problems so I don't think he will play, anyway, he won't be a starter.

Carlo did confirm that Simic will play in the defence. Inzaghi in the attack, our young prospect Favalli had recovered and he is going to start on the left.

Pato is not going to Torino. This sucks but we have to deal with it.

I think this will be a mistake. I'm talking about the full backs. I may be wrong but i believe Simic and Serginho didn't play much this season and few months passed since they played their last match ?
If i'm right, and since Juve's greatest strenght is the wing play, i think both Simic and Serginho won't be able to cope with Camoranesi and Palladino, especially in the second half. Simic will find himself in even bigger trouble if we take into consideration that Del Piero also likes to operate from his left side.
All this may result with lots of crosses for Trezeguet and it's never a good thing for the opponents when Trez gets a lot of chances.

On the other hand, if the wings are neutralized, Trezeguet is practically harmless.

That's why, imo, it will be smarter if full back positions are taken by players who are physically better prepared than Simic and Serginho, while Simic is given a DC role and Serginho starts from the bench.

With the limited choice Ancelotti has, i think the best thing to do is to play this defense :

or maybe this one:
Cafu-Bonera-Maldini-Favalli

Seedorf doesn't have the legs for that role, especially against Juve. Those 3 in midfield will be hounded all game by Sissoko and Zanetti (i'm guessing) and i just can't see them being strong enough.

As Tony said, Juve's strength is in the wings and if you add that to a strong central partnership, it's imperative we counter this with a suitable formation/line-up.

I would either move to a 4-4-2 to neutralise Juve's width or move to a 4-2-3-1 formation. Playing the first formation will give everyone a man and make it easier for us to organise 2 banks of 4 across the midfield, thus making it harder for Juve to break us down. Playing the second formation with Gattuso & Ambrosini as the middle 2 would give us a much stronger cover in front of a weak defence against both Juve's central midfield pairing and their wingers. Pirlo can be pushed forward a bit more and have to worry a little less about defensive duties for once.

There's no reason why we can't win this match IF we get the setup right.

If Juve get the right setup and we get the right setup then it'll be a draw
