![]() First of all he won't be jealous. Second of all he has already linked up well with Kaka on Brasil NT. Third of all connecting to Henry and connecting to Kaka is totally different as they are two different types of offensive players. ![]() |

Right now it looks like we're offering probably around 25-30 million euros for both R10 and Zambro (as Galliani said we offered more than 20 million). Barca are apparently asking for 50 million, so I suspect we'll be looking at a deal worth around 35 or at a stretch 40 million. edit: This says quite some different figures to what I have heard (well, kind of) http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...463791,00.html Last edited by ACMILAN1983; 23-04-2008 at 07:52. |

if dinho really want milan, then he should consider paying himself the difference that barca demand.
on a serious note, it's just part and parcel of negotiation and barca areasking for more than what we offer. remember it's only april.

I disagree that the sponsorship issue isn't that big of a deal. Ronaldinho is nike's main footballing cash cow atm. Other than Messi in Barca, the vast majority of Adidas stars wear an Adidas Jersey. Ronaldo and Ronaldinho are big cash cows (no pun intended
) for Nike. Adidas and nike are going at it toe-to-toe now and I doubt Nike would be pleased to see Ronaldinho wearing the insignia of their main Rivals EVERY WEEK. The latest installment of Ronaldo's nike adds has him playing at Inter and Barca only. I was like "wtf? didn't he score some great goals for us too "Think about it: David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Robben, Kaka, and Michael Ballack are all wearing Adidas for their clubs. Reebok is also owned by Adidas. Patrick Viera, ADP and Robin Van Persie are other notable exceptions (adidas players that play in a nike kit) With Adidas (more of a football powerhouse than nike but only marginally) making an offer to Brazil and nike rumored trying to go at the GERMAN nt expect these wars to get dirtier and more underhanded. Also to what end? What if the sponsor tries to unsettle the player to leave?I have observed that somehow or the other, high profile athletes sponsored by one brand who wear the jersey sponsored of another brand (meaning mainly nike vs adidas) there always seems to be some degree of uncertainty. My observations are very simplistic, I concede and could be easily countered with examples in the other direction I concede but what if there was actually a correlation? ![]() I aslo strongly believe that José Mourinho's apparent transfer to Inter might his a serious sponsorship snag

If anything it could be vice-versa (though I doubt it). |
