That excuse he used was very lame....its hard to tell people that shell out 30% of their weekly salary for a football club that you are leaving because of family when you make more than they will ever make in three generations...

He f*cked up royally and realized that the opportunity he had at Milan was taken for granted and not something that occured at every team...

poetic justice if you ask me

I will never forget his contributions but will also never see him in the same light as many others that stood at San Siro (MVB, Maldini, Costacurta, Baresi, Rivera) and he could have been part of that legendary group

At this point, we should not be looking at Sheva because the team does not need him. We have enough AM's and second strikers----Pato, Kaka, Dinho can all play as second striker. We need a good first striker---Pippo, Boriello, Paloschi are not enough to win the scudetto. This is why I'm against Sheva's signing. If we did not get Dinho, then fine, but right now, we don't need him---and besides, at his age and confidence level, he is clearly not the Sheva that left us 2 years ago. Berlu should put personal things aside and do what's best for Milan.

Shevchenko isnt the first Milan player to "Jump ship" and join Chelsea. Marcel Desailly also did the same, the difference is he didnt make a fool of him self and play like sh!t. Most Milan fans felt like we lost out big time. Where as with $heva I personally feel relieved we got rid at the right time. $heva has egg on his face, but hey im sure his son can now speak english!!
