Is he actually flipping them off? They must've really gotten under his skin that he would make such a gesture.

Can't blame him in the slightest, though, because those "fans" ought to be firebombed.

I don't think even Hollywood could've come up with a script of this terrible day in team history.

He was not happy at all. Leonardo said something to him before he went down the tunnel, which he clearly did not like. The recriminations of this will go on for some time.

I'm sure Christian and/or Daniel are absolutely thrilled at the prospect of playing for Milan in the future if this is the thanks their father gets for all these years of service.

Fully agreed. It made me want to puke to read that news. To humiliate someone who's been giving everything he has and more for over 20 years is beyond any reason. I've tried to find a more decent and proper word to call them but I just couldn't. For once, a strong word is the most appropriate one, they're not fans, they're CR@PS!

He disrespected the Milan tifosi, and the bunch of protesters have taken exception to that.

You know who really disrepect Milan, Berlu for not wanting to invest in the club. Say all you want about what he had done....but over the past few years, he does not want to care about the well being of the team, it is as simple as that. First he does not spend the money he made from players' sale on right players, and now, he does not even want to have Gourcuff to come back(at least according to report), despite the fact that every top clubs in Europe wants his service.

Well it looks like we are going to pay for all of our sins....well...maybe it should be said that Berlu“s sins are coming to haunt all of us.

Berlu has demoralised the team by his remarks about salary caps, and clear-outs...he has undermined his coach, by not confirming him, and as such, the coach has lost the dressing room....he can no longer get the players to perform...even with UCL at stake.

Farewell Carlo, thanks for the memories...the trophies, the experiences. You are a great coach, just had the unfortunate task of a "mission impossible" when one looks at how you had to work, and what you had to work with.

Berlu was peripherally involved in Calciopoli, hence the anti-Milan bias of the refs is also Berlu“s fault. That we didnt deserve at least one penalty yesterday is clearly the result of the calciopoli backlash.

Thanks Berlusconi, for the wonderful things you have done for Milan, but there comes a time when you must face the fact that you are a Prime Minister, and Billionaire, but not a coach...thats why you hire them in the first place...appoint whomever you wish, but back off..free up some $s for transfers that the coach requests, and leave him alone to do his job.

Failure to do this will see, instead of what could have been a new cycle for Milan, another (IMO) 3 or 4 year spell of mediocrity until we get another "Kaka" like player by accident....

The failure to gain points today neatly sums up the last 3 or 4 years of Berlu“s ineptitude, and lack of investment.

I will not comment about the fans response to Maldini, except to say that I am abhor that type of behaviour, and it was unnecessary, and uncalled for.

Indeed, its one of the lowest points I have experienced as a Milan fan...even after Istanbul...even UCL qualification vs the Viola (if we can manage that, which I doubt) wont make it any better.

I think we need to go back to square one. A clear out is in order, and if Kaka is to go, then so be it. I am sick and tired of seeing my great club being used like a doormat.

Well guys I was at the game yesterday and I tell u this: If we sell Kaka our club is doomed. First because he does everything on the pitch and every single good play of Milan starts with him. If you take Kaka away from this team that we currently have, we would be 10th in the standings... Second of all, if Berlusconi sell Kaka there would be hell to pay... Tifosi made it known with their banners and singing... I think everyone is fed up with the lack of money Berlusconi is putting in and if he sell Kaka i think San Siro will be empty... There was a banner that said: "You wanted to sell Kaka just to get millions in the club, the millions that you are not willing to spend from your own money." And on top of this banner was another one that said: "SPEND!"

Berlusconi is trying to run the club sensibly. The idiots who are coming out and saying "SPEND!!!" have no idea how to run a football club and keep it on a solid financial footing. I for one, do not want to see the club spend like crazy, only to end up in massive debt in a few years time.

There is no doubt Berlu should receive criticism, but it should not be for lack of spending. The fact is we are not a Premiership side with a bottomless pit of money. We do not run ourselves into mountains of debt. Any criticism towards Silvio should be directed towards the fact that the money he has spent, has been spent on players that he wants, and not players that Ancelotti wants.

It's not that Berlu has been a penny pincher, it's just that he's wasted it over the past year on the likes of out-of-form show ponies like Ronaldinho and Beckham simply for the sake of moving a few shirts, then on pointless youth signings like Viudez and Cardacio in order to trick us into believing we're ushering in some kind of new generation.

And he probably wonders why Gourcuff wants to stay in France instead of coming back over here.

I'm not all that surprised of what the Curva Sud did this past game day. I admire the passion and environment that they put up every game day. I have however known for some time that they have a high degree of absolute "NO CLASS".
Oh they have a right to express their opinion as they did when Maldini made a final run around the San Siro. But before we all go pointing shame at the display they have shown, let us not forget that the same lack of decorum gets posted in by many members all the time. We live in a glass house too in MM yet we love to cast big stones.
I find it best to put these high emotions in check and save for the time of success. AND we have always succeded! Dont get mad, frustrated, disrespectful, or mean spirited when what we all want doesnt come. Glory will come but not on our timely convenience.
Come what may good or bad and LOVE IT.

I followed the game in the 2nd tier BLU, as I do every game. But sunday against Rome it was disgusting!! He gave 25 years of his life and then he get's this farewell?? Come on guys??

Being in the 2nd tier BLU, I didn't knew what they showed during the game, so I was very surprised to read the newspapers on monday morning. It's a f...ing disgrace!

Apparently the relationship between Paolo and "the Curva Sud" (the south stands) was not so good. In 1998 during the MILAN-Parma game, which was suspended for 7 minutes, because the ultras had thrown hundreds of oranges on the pitch, Paolo said some things about the ultras. They should better support their team and players, instead off throwing things on the pitch. Then in 2007, after de Istanbul-debacle against Liverpool, Paolo arrived at the Malpensa airport with his family. Some ultras where there insulting Paolo and other players. Paolo, allways cool, responded: "shut up, you mercenaries and beggars"!! And this was not really in favour of those guys.

With the action on sunday, they wanted to show that Paolo had no respect for them, his fans. I find this incorrect and I am not in the mood any more to follow every game in the South Stands.

Paolo is Mister MILAN, he deserve to be threated with lots of respect. If they couldn't give him this respect, they should have stayed at home.

Grazie Paolo!! For everything you have done for us and for the club in the past 25 yaers!!

Simply the BEST!!
