It does seem that Gazzetta is jumping around with names, but Quagliarella is apparently very well liked by Ancelotti. I would be very happy if he came.

2) either lucho gonzalez(rosina) or ivanchitz(montolivo)
3) we must buy some utility player like zambrotta
4) if i can choose from galliani's list i choose < etoo then r10 then tevez"6th">
5) since all players in the world were sold we must play smart either through promoting more youth or through buying some players whose places could be lost next year like : kuyt cannavaro santacruz r10 robben

barca will rotate them, like rijkaard always rotates players. Its a question about how the atmosphere in the dressing room will look like (henry the crybaby), but theres no other option with frank in charge. Tony29 has right. The only way we may get him is to splash the cash big time and soon.

European champions AC Milan are to make a bid for Barcelona's Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto'o, Marca sports daily reported on Tuesday.

"A Milan emissary is due to go to Barca's Nou Camp offices in the next few days with a cheque in his hand," Marca indicated, adding the offer could resolve Barca's headache of how to play Eto'o alongside new signing Thierry Henry in an attack also containing Leo Messi and Ronaldinho.

Milan have been pondering a raid on Barca over the summer, with club administrator delegate Adriano Galliani trying to arrange the signing of Ronaldinho in a swap deal for fellow Brazilian Kaka.

With Kaka, also a Real Madrid target, staying put, Eto'o is now top of the list of desired new names for the "rossoneri".

Galliani is on record as saying that the Italians are determined to land a "great champion" and named his top five as Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Chelsea's Didier Drogba and his clubmate and former Milan star Andrei Shevchenko, as well as Alexandre Pato of Brazilian side Porto Alegre.

Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta insisted on June 19 that Dutch coach Frank Rijkaard, Ronaldinho and Eto'o, who together landed the 2006 Champions League, would stay with the Catalan club despite a barren season and then the arrival of Henry from Arsenal.

Former Barca coach Johan Cruyff said earlier this month he believed there was no room for Henry, Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Messi on the pitch at the same time.

Julio Batista looks more like a panzer tank than like a footballer, come on, I'm sure we'll not sign him... on the other hand, Quagliarella would be a great addition, the guy really kicks ass... and strategically speakin', that means a free non-EU spot to us, which hopefully will be filled by Pato.

playing a good game from time to time is not enough to be a Milan player. IMO Baptista is not good option for Milan, I hope he wont join us

This is bs from Marca. I bet my both hands there was no such offer comming from Galliani.

I also think Marca is wrong about the money Milan is willing to offer for Eto'o - 42m Euro. It's simply too much for someone who missed 5 months of last season because of some serious knee problems. 30m euro is more than enough for Eto'o.

i think there is a gamble with eto and ronaldinho, if they dont get there Eu spot before august 31st.

This is why i think milan is leaning towards Quagliarella who could cost us arround 15 mill euros and will let us have the free spot for Pato in january.

Fully agree... the guy is weird, more suited to be a heavy weight boxeur than a footballer... and his playing is rather clumsy, slow and definitelly uninspired.

Transfer market consultant Bronzetti doesn't believe Barcelona will sell Eto'o.
